•Take charge in the maintenance and repair activities of all plant electrical equipments, power distribution facilities, controllers and devices.
•Lead, troubleshoots and maintain power transformers with primary voltage rating of 4kv up to 138kv with power rating up to 42MVA.
•Inspection and maintenance of power transformers on-load tap changer diverter switch, substation control protection and switchgears so that it can ensure a reliable power system of operation.
•Inspection and maintenance of electric arc furnace transformers with 30kv, 10mva rating including its respective protection and controls.
•Inspection, maintenance and repair of electric over-head traveling cranes with capacity ratings from 5 to 50-tons.
•Maintenance and repair of electric motors including its frequency drives and controls with voltage ratings from 220volts up to 4.16kv.
•Inspection maintenance and repair of hydraulic pneumatic control system of sintering and smelting plant.
•Preparation and revision of controls to fit for the requirements of the operation.
•Design and revise power substation capacity with its additional switchgears and protection including MCCs to fit for the additional load of the plant.
•Preparation of specifications and ratings of electrical equipments and controls so that ready spare parts will be available during scheduled and unscheduled shutdown.
•Take charge in the electrical construction, fabrication, modification or revision necessary to improve electrical system controls and likewise plant’s operation.
•Prepares and submit power consumption report, maintenance reports and other reports as maybe required by the Electrical Superintendent.
•Responds emergency calls pertaining to electrical equipment trouble during and after office hours.
•Assigning and scheduling of subordinates for its respective work including their shifting schedules and vacation leaves.
•Make sure that all personnel behind my supervision works in the standard norms and safety as prescribed by the Safety Committee of the company base on the safety guidelines of the Safety Organization of the Philippines Inc.
