Provide expertise and advice on a Major Capital Project worth $40Bn to construct a Liquefied Natural Gas Plant. Identify potential environmental and social risks associated with the project, while delivering recommendations to the executive leadership regarding risk mitigation and problem resolution. Manage environmental and social data, automate collection / reporting systems, and generate reports for senior project management team on E&S performance. Devise and execute environmental policies and procedures for seamless operations. Interact with multiple project stakeholders, such as government and communities.
● Identified and managed environmental / social risk through deployment of International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards.
● Development and implementation of the ESHIA document and liaison with EPC contractors during both FEED and construction.

Oversaw the impact of supply chain operations associated with a $50Bn major capital project of expanding oil extraction operations. Led the development of environmental and social management systems, while understanding project’s supply chain and related environmental and social risks. Leveraged technical acumen to resolve project related problems.
● Developed and implemented a program that built on the ESHIA requirements and IFC Performance Standards. Received recognition from the World Bank for extraordinary performance.
● Utilised advanced Microsoft Power BI to develop a database with a keen focus on demonstrating project supply chain, including 87 camps and 90 industrial yards.
● Reduced environmental and social risks by performing assurance activities at designated facilities.
● Directed water management project at more than 100 camps from water and wastewater perspective.
 Significantly saved water in the area with extreme water shortages through reuse programs

Served as a key member of the site leadership team. Identified and troubleshot environmental / social issues in the field.
● Utilised leadership attributes to steer a multinational team for implementing Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).
 Worked through FEED and ESHIA development through to construction and eventual demobilisation of contractors.
● Raised contractors and project team awareness on the ESMS, while advising on developing and implementing ESMS plans.
● Streamlined the waste disposal routes and waste management process that saved substantial amount (50%) of project cost.
● Mentored and coached six contractors regarding implementation of ESMS.

Global environmental and sustainability consultancy. Working in the Performance Assurance and Transaction Services team my responsibilities included development of proposals, leading and participating in audits for clients and developing management system.
2 years at ERM were spent seconded to the Anadarko Petroleum Corporation Mozambique Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) construction project, during which responsibilities included:
•Leading role in the ESHIA development team for the Mozambique LNG project.
•Managing environmental monitoring contractors from award to completion of scope.
Development of an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).
Technical and environmental support during the FEED process.
Liaison and support to EPC contractors regarding the requirements of the ESMS.
Site visits to commence implementation of the ESMS prior to EPC contract award.
Setting up environmental monitoring programs in Mozambique.

UK based Paper and Packaging Company, responsibilities included:
•Optimisation of the manufacturing process to improve environmental performance.
•Management of the closed landfill site in line with the closure plan.
•Management of contractors to perform environmental monitoring of the plant and landfill.
•Working with the effluent treatment plant to optimise discharge performance.
•Submitting and presenting reports to the Environment Agency and Senior Management Team.
•Cost/Benefit analysis for environmental improvements.
Key Achievements:
•Project managed the Closed Landfill Improvement Plan, involving managing multiple contractors; and
•Managed a team to successfully identify improvements which reduced oil wasted to drain by 50%.

Global pharmaceutical company with a manufacturing base in the UK, responsibilities included:
