HSE RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for all HSE related matters in the site of AL-JABER &PARTNERS, construction related all activities. • Ensure that all project HSE objectives are met, targets achieved and client's requirements are fulfilled. Also government legislations are compiled with. • Ensure compliance with HSE policy and procedures through detailed and systematic methodology. • Ensure that engineers, supervisors and workforce on jobsite are complying to HSE procedures and to monitor the progress of site projects. • Conduct a HSE induction, industrial safety & construction safety training for all workforces on jobsite. • Issue and monitor permit to work scheme to all critical activities to ensure their safety at all times. • Perform job hazard analysis, risk assessment review, conduct gas testing and noise monitoring within the site. Also implement fire fighting and fire fighting drills, including fire extinguishers care. • Oversee the effective implementation of waste management and environment protection system. • Visit on the site to observe the hazards ( e.g. work at height, excavations, confined space, environment problems, heat stress, ppe, transportation, lifting activities, hand tools inspection, heavy machinery inspection and etc) • Communicate with engineers and foremen to solve the safety related problems. • Make observation report and submit to HSE manager on daily basis.
