Set up and manage the Human Resources function for the local UAE and group of International companies that comprise AMI International. AMI International is present in 16 countries.
I Conducted an Organisational Development programme to reorganise the structure of the companies, including moving the head office from Mauritius to Singapore.
I compiled all the relevant HR Policies for the companies and implemented these, inclusive of new forms and processes.
I centralised Recruitment and added psychometric evaluation for certain categories of employees.
I designed and implemented Performance Management systems, based on KPI's, updated Job Descriptions to align with the KPI's and designed and implemented the Compensation and Benefit structure, to align with the new Organisational Structure. Further to the Performance Management system we also identified and implement a soft skills training programme.
The company was bought by two Abu Dhabi Investment companies and it was required to certify the company as an ISO certified company, to be compliant with the requirements of the UAE government for Security Companies, as well as various other initiatives as mandated by DPS and PSBD.
I managed these and developed the HR Department to be compliant while Knightbridge also acquired another Security Company during that time.

Setting up a consulting company that provided HR Services such as Organisational Development, Training, Executive Couching to bespoke clients such as Carrefour, Precise, Lootah BCGas, Bateel, Napier Healthcare.
Set up the company and manage the company as a general manager as well as consult to the various clients.
Developed and implemented a strategic HR Function for the group of 15 joint Ventures, including Oil and Gas (Lootah BCGas and Q Energy, FMCG (Al islami Foods), Architecture (ZAS/PSE), 5 Star Hotel Group (Al Jawhara Hotels), Construction (S.S. Lootah Contracting), Structural and Consulting Engineering (TROW and NCK) companies and Health Care (KMH Nuclear Medicine).
My role, both on a strategic level and operational level, included recruitment, selection, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefit and Learning and Development for these diverse companies.
During the downturn I got involved with OD work, facilitating the merger of ZAS International and PSE Engineering and the buy out of a USA Group and subsequent merger with KMH.
I also managed the HR Adminstration Function for these departments, including payroll
Working first as a consultant and for the latter part of my career permanently, I was responsible for the architecture and development of their new HR Management Software and the setting up, training and managing the implementation team to support the implementation of this software package.
I developed a network of audiology practises for an American Hearing Aid manufacturer, Beltone, in South Africa. I identifies premises, hired personnel (professional and support personnel), manage the budgets and accounts for the practises (38 of them), developed and implemented the marketing plan and planned and implemented both the professional and non-professional training for these practises.
I started my career in the Recruitment and Selection Department, and became the head of that department as well as the head of the OD, training and Operational Support Departments in my career.
The Military Psychological Institute provided a full spectrum support service in these areas to all the various components of the South African National Defense Force.
The degree covers all aspects of Personnel Management (HR) and broader subjects, such as Business Economics, Economics, Accounting and Labour Law
