 Undertake basic typing, word processing and other IT based tasks, including the
operation of standard office equipment, such as photocopiers, fax machines,
laminators and scanners.
 Coordinate extra-curricular activities, both teacher led and externally provided,
allocating places to children, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, sending letters
home to parents and liaising with the Administrator regarding changes to bus lists.
 Establish and maintain excellent relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other
professionals.
 Ensure all visitors to the school are greeted respectfully and professionally and signed in
appropriately.
 Answer the telephone in a pleasant, informed manner, dealing with queries and taking messages.
 Prepare students daily attendance.
 Generate attendance weekly report.
 Check the school email account and respond to queries as and when required.
 Provide general administrative support to school staff, such as preparing letters, photocopying, filing and faxing documents.
 Update records and databases when information has changed.
 Maintain a professional reception area.
 Promote the school vision, aims and objectives.
