.• Preparation of monthly financial statements and monthly management pack containing detailed analysis of financial statements for management
• Prepare annual accounts and facilitate internal and external audits
• Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Conduct regular scrutiny of these ledgers in order to ensure the accuracy of accounting data.
• Ensure that all transactions are in compliance with the established policies and procedures of the company
• Exercise budgetary and accounting controls to ensure that budgeted targets are met and to identify, report and resolve if there are any inconsistencies in the accounting system
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register of the Company's assets.
• Liaising with Company's auditors, insurers, bankers and other related parties
• Prepare journal entries for revenues, expenses, capital expenditure, adjustments etc.
• Payroll Confirmation
• Support in budgeting process and ad-hoc financial analysis requested by the management
• Ensure all payments to suppliers, staff, and other external parties are made according to company policies and procedures
• Prepare reconciliations of Bank accounts, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and Intercompany accounts periodically and report if any discrepancies found.
• Monthly closing requirements with good presentation skills to provide management with closing month results
