Lead a product unit and a team of product specialists in Easypaisa as Product/Project Manager for Easypaisa & managed the portfolio of Insurance and Balance Sheet Products
Managed the P&L of a growing product portfolio of 90, 000 plus subscriber base and deposit base of over 120 Million raised through micro deposits
Added new products to the product line, developed the portfolio, launched and managed the product lifecycle through different campaigns.
Projects:
Conceived, and launched "Khushaal Beema", the first hybrid insurance and savings with rewards product for Easy Paisa. Easypaisa Khushaal Beema provides FREE Life and Accidental Death coverage to the customers who subscribe for the product and save their money using Easypaisa Mobile Account (Mobile Wallet)
Created and launched "Khushaal Munafa" a savings product paying profit to Easypaisa Savers. Profit is calculated on daily basis and paid out at the end of every month in Mobile Account. Higher the deposit in Mobile Account, Higher the profit.
Introduced the call center as one of the effective sales channels for mobile financial services and launched two savings and insurance products that are sold over a telephonic call and secured a grant of 40 Million Rupees from GSMA for Khushaal Beema
Launched Khushaal Beema Plus, a paid insurance product for the corporates in which the companies can get their employees covered by paying a premium. Similar product for the OTC and Mobile Account channels is in process
Worked on liability, assets and investment based new product ideas for Mobile Account platform and OTC channels for Easypaisa
Achievements:
Khushaal Beema is one of the products, which was offered to Care International beneficiaries during 2013. Easypaisa later in February 2014 won an award for best mobile money products for women in emerging markets.
Khushaal Advertisement Campaign won PAS Awards in three different categories for 2012
Performed as Second in command of Head of Lahore Division and managing the overall operations of Division.
Played an important role in implementation of the management-s strategy of restructuring, revitalization of the face of insurance industry and inculcating best practices in company operations.
Assisted the divisional in restructuring of Lahore Division, amalgamation of branches previously located in Lahore
Responsible for implementation of pricing strategies of different divisions (other than engineering business) and rationalizing and rebalancing of premium rates based on the risk profile and market competitiveness
