Duties and Responsibilities as MEP-Quantity Surveyor:
• Scrutinize, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer; Liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek clarifications there to.
• Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Engineer/Employer.
• Coordinate with the main contractor, consultants, project managers and site engineers for various technical concerns.
• Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations.
• Quantity Take off for all MEP (Mechanical & Electrical Services (Planswift) based on the contract drawings and compiling the Tender BOQ with description.
• Measuring and describing Mechanical & Electrical work including documentation and negotiation with contractors
• Making Bill of Quantity estimates as per the proposed design including installation materials, installation, labour and other governing factors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviews enquiry documentation from Client together with scope of work to understand what is required.
• Provide detailed engineering works such as take off, estimating, pricing etc.
• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, and site project managers for various technical concerns.
• Measuring and describing Mechanical & Electrical work including documentation and negotiation with contractors.
• Preparing and using detailed budgets and cost plans.
• Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations.
• Making Bill of Quantity estimates as per the proposed design including installation materials, installation, labour and other governing factors.
• Checks for the flaws and revised the drawing whenever necessary.
• Coordinated with Clients, Consultants, and site project managers for various technical concerns.
Duties and Responsabilities
• Reviews enquiry documentation from Client together with scope of work to understand what is required. And to coordinates with contractors regarding the projects.
• Preparing Bill of Quantities and preparing break-up quantities for the construction project.
• Take off quantities and prepare tender projects, estimates the budgets for construction projects.
• Prepare detailed cost plans.
• Responsible for preparing estimated for Electrical Services.
• Estimates the quantity needed for any materials, supplies and equipments needed in order to carry out the project.
• Assist in preparing feasibility studies on construction project costing. Sending inquiries to the suppliers and follow up the tender results and negotiating final prices.
• Coordinates with the main contractor regarding projects concern.
• Checking the status of the project.
• Reported directly to Mep Manager.
• Systemized pertinent technical documents.
• Undertaking and valuing of variations and potential variations.
• Provided detailed engineering works such as take off, estimating, pricing etc.
• Coordinated with Clients, Consultants, and site project managers for various technical concerns.
