Generating revenue by selling print, digital, contract magazine and events media.
Initially responsible for one magazine product, which was undervalued and missing its sales targets.
The team had two sales executives and one manager who were under-performing.
Within under one year, under my supervision we increased the revenue from $500k to $1.5k in print alone.
I spotted a gap in the market and launched a new magazine, website, digital products, awards and events.
I repeated this formula twelve times and grew the business from $500k to $100, 000, 000 over the course of a six year period.
My team grew from three to forty sales directors, managers and executives during this period.
I launched the events, conferences and exhibitions division for ITP across the GCC.
I created a contract magazine for a well known high street retailer, published four times a year.
I identified gaps in the strengths of my team and developed a sales training programme adopted company wide across all departments.
I led the editorial, design and production departments and made all external communications, clearer and more client focused.
