Networking Operations
• Designing network layouts and managing the installation, configuration and commissioning of systems & devices.
• Monitoring performance reports as a measure of preventive maintenance.
• Planning, deploying and configuring IPTV service Requirement Network Architecture.
• Coordinating with MEN, RDN and IPTV-NOC Team to troubleshoot various issues related to Routers and Switches.
Installation and Configuration
• Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same.
• Handling installation and configuration of Cisco 7600 series routers, Cisco 4500/3750/3650/3550/3400/C-500 Switches and Juniper NS ISG Firewall.
Operations and Maintenance/ Technical Support
• Planning preventive maintenance schedules of various equipment’s to increase equipment reliability.
• Providing technical support / training to clients for resolving critical technical issues.
• Developing and submitting field technical complaints, analysis and MIS reports to circle H.O
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and taking adequate measures to rectify faults.
• Resolving network related issues using ticketing systems.
• Monitoring day to day ticket flow generated by CC team and L1 team.
The Engineer- Network Operations is responsible for developing and deploying advanced network based
technology solutions for the enterprise. The network operations team has responsibilities in the areas of LAN/WAN, Datacenter, Internet, Quality of Service, Network Management. The Engineer- Network Operations will work with other functional teams to help define requirements and recommend network designs, protocols, and configurations to meet those requirements. The Engineer- Network Operations will ensure that quality documentation is prepared during development and deployments so the solution can be handed off to Program Manager and the Network Support team.
Total 1 year of progressive knowledge and experience in networking function such as network architecture, RF testing, design, deployment, and support.
Presently associated with TATANET Services LTD. as Network Operations Engineer.
Acquired comprehensive exposure to Network Operations including - Troubleshooting, Monitoring, Bandwidth management, Traffic routing, timely mail follow-up & Telephonic escalations.
Possess Hands on experience with Juniper SRX, Cisco IOS and Cisco routing and switching platforms.
Knowledge and experience with network architectures, designs, protocols and configurations (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Datacenter, Internet, QOS, Content Networking).
Experience with network monitoring systems and packet capture systems for network analysis and troubleshooting.
Well defined analytical and problem solving abilities.
Good communication and presentation skills, basic project management skills.
Experience in QOS management like Allot & Packet Shaper.
Responsible for addition of customer networks for monitoring, management, utilization & creation of event message and action for automated event generation.
Work with vendors to implement network systems.
• BE - Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering - Mumbai University
• Diploma in Electronics Engineering with First Class Distinction from Mumbai University (2009)
• SSC with First Class from Maharashtra State Board (2005)
