JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Inspecting Road Pavement activities while laying and checking all machinery prior to start paving activity.
• Inspection and testing for Pavement activities for Subbase, CBM & Asphalt layers (BC, WC, WCPMB)
• Performing site inspections and all kinds of On-site testing for inspected areas in order to meet quality requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for the implementation of Qatar Construction Specifications, Project Quality Plans, Procedure, and Inspection Checklists for Civil and Structural Steel relating to International Codes & Standards such as BS, ACI, ASTM, and AASHTO.
• Performs QC Inspection activities covering the Civil work portion of the Contract job and ensures the full implementation of the Project Quality Plan under the Civil Work Phase. Coordinates with Third-Party Civil Testing and Inspection Agency for the implementation of the Project Quality Plan, which covers the phases of civil works portion of the project and all necessary QA/QC documentation
• Responsible for QC inspection of all civil works related to the project, such as excavation, backfilling, formworks, rebar, concrete pouring, concrete curing, concrete painting, and structural steel installation
• Raised Request for Inspection and coordinate with the Client Consultant unit of the schedule of testing and inspection
• Quality inspection for all civil and structural related works such as inspection and acceptance of materials (i.e. reinforcing bars, anchor bolts, ready-mixed concrete, structural steel, asphalt, base course, sub-base course, and other earth filling materials) delivered at the site and prepare the necessary documentation
• Responsibilities for all civil inspection activities of this project including excavation, trenching, concrete foundation, steel supports, foundations and pre-cast concrete panels for bridges, tunnel construction for railways, block walling & asphalt paving work, etc.

• Worked as a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer in Lusail Expressway Project in a Pre-cast unit where Pre-stressed I-girders and PC-Panels were produced for two NCC and SCC Bridges and Onaiza and Pearl Tunnel and the beams were erected at the site
• Responsible for all aspects of the project related to quality assurance and quality control
• Overall implementation of the quality management system at the site
• Implementation of the project-specific quality plan, method statements, quality control procedures, inspection test plans (ITP), quality control checklists, material approval request (MAR)
• Controlling all inspection activities at site receiving for permanent works items, in-process, final, and off-site inspection activities based on the RFI
• Completion of the necessary documentation to verify the works performed; conduct mock-up for each new material and activity to be used/performed at the site
• Closing of non-conformance reports (NCR’s) and the necessary follow up
• Take part in the quality audit conducted by the client and the consultant
• Timely calibration of the various equipment’s and devices that are in use
• Represent in the bi-weekly QA/QC meeting conducted at Hyundai E & C
• Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the contract requirements;
• Effective inspection and testing in accordance with ITP as defined, advice subordinates on missing wastage rework, and proper care of tools equipment
• Conduct Quality Awareness training to Engineers, supervisors, foremen, and labors on various activities of work like Concreting works, vibrating, repair works by approved materials, Steam Curing, pre-stressing, etc.
