1) Currently serving as the team lead and should-cost analyst for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), a division of The Boeing Company.
2) Developing optimal cost estimates for structural commodity parts
related to commercial aircraft based on input requests received from
procurement agents.
3) Preparing Optimal costs for Machining, Sheet metal, Composite,
Casting & Forging components using Boeing tools & dashboards such
as SEER, SHERPA, SMIT, REDARS, BOMSITE, MANTIS.
4) Preparing the delivery deck for each completed input request, outlining all essential strategies including key findings, complexity, negotiation approaches, graphical analysis, and part-wise cost breakdowns, to serve as a negotiation support document for the procurement agents.
5) Maintaining & updating the Input requests log and circulating to the team on a weekly basis.
6) Attending weekly connects with the Boeing SME On-shore team
members to discuss the on-going input requests, key findings, learnings & knowledge transfer sessions.
7) Organizing the monthly knowledge transfer sessions within the team as a part of team development program.
8) Submitting process improvement and transformation ideas aimed at achieving cost and time savings in alignment with business value
objectives.
9) Reviewing the Optimal costs & Delivery deck of the team members
input requests and providing valuable feedback & suggestions.

1) Review all customer inquiries, technical specification documents, and drawings to assess whether the information provided is adequate for preparing cost estimates and quotations.
2) Attending technical meetings with clients and clarifying any queries & details required for preparation of costing & quotation. 3) 3) Preparing vendor analysis report for each enquiry received in order to present it to the top management during finalization of the costing & quotation.
4) Developing comprehensive cost estimates for primary and secondary steel structures, as well as technological structures across the steel, oil & gas, marine, and railway sectors, considering all elements including labor, materials, machining, consumables, outsourcing, indirect expenses, packing, and freight costs.
5) Preparation of techno-commercial offers in the EQS system with respect to the scope matrix, including technical requirements, exclusions, assumptions, commercial terms & conditions in the proposal.
6) Developing appropriate procedures and maintaining benchmark database formulated from in-house project experience, project data, submitted range of costs.
7) Preparing RFQs, scope matrices, and issuing inquiries to vendors for raw materials, bought-out items, labor/manpower, inspection, packing, and freight charges.
8) Organizing a kick of meeting for briefing complete information regarding contract technical conditions to the concerned cross functional teams.
9) Reviewing the estimated costs with the actual costs based on cost
variance analysis in coordination with cross functional teams.

1) Evaluate all customer inquiries, input data, and drawings to determine if the provided information is sufficient for preparing the cost estimate.
2) Maintaining ongoing coordination with the Marketing and After-Sales departments to gather additional information needed for cost estimation and to confirm the target date for submitting the quotation.
3) Preparing the detailed cost estimation based on the drawings available or the recent reference drawings using the available software’s such as Mini-Estimator, One world, One Cad.
4) Calculating the total CBM of the equipment/machine in co-ordination with the logistics department in-order to derive the Packing cost and Freight charges.
5) To verify the final order value against the drawings, weight, and quoted price at the time of order confirmation. If any discrepancies are found, the cost variance will be communicated to the sales and marketing team for the necessary purchase order adjustments.
6) Comparing estimated costs with actual and forecasted costs using
available reports and estimation documents to monitor equipment-wise profitability.
7) Maintaining the present market rates of all the raw materials, regular market items in co-ordination with the procurement department.
8) Floating the enquiries for the bought-out items to the regularly supplied vendors in order to get the offers based on the present market trend.
9) Extraction of tentative bill of material from the available general
arrangement drawings required for cost estimation purpose.

1) Evaluate all customer inquiries, input data, and drawings to assess the equipment’s impact on the company and its investments, then compile and present this information to management in a clear and accessible format.
2) Continual involvement with the engineering team & customers regarding technical discussions for finalizing the scope of work and extending support to sales and marketing teams.
3) Continual co-ordination with the vendors and procurement department to get the quotations on times which are required for preparing cost estimations.
4) Preparing comprehensive cost estimates for the equipment by considering all cost elements, including labor, materials, machining, consumables, outsourcing, indirect expenses, taxes and duties, and freight charges
5) Preparing technical and commercial proposals that incorporate all terms and conditions specified in the enquiry and the finalized scope of workfrom customers and submitting the priced quotes through the SAP ARIBA portal.
6) Reviewing the estimated costs with the actual costs based on cost
variance analysis in coordination with cross functional teams.
7) Preparing business plan, MIS report, performance report and annual budget report and presenting it to the top management.
8) Preparing detailed scope of work and sending the enquiries to
subcontractors for the supply of manpower for performing
manufacturing activities.
9) Implemented SAP production planning module as a super user covering all the processes involved in equipment manufacturing & machinery division in coordination with SAP IT team.
8) Continual coordination with the commercial team, logistics team and customers for dispatching the finished equipment with invoices through SAP system.
9) Transferring the finished equipment stock to customer stock through SAP MM module after the dispatch of the equipment.
10) All the presentations & documents required during the time of auditing will be prepared and properly documented in co-ordination with cross-functional teams.
