HTF plant (Heat Transfer Fluid)
(also, I was worked in Fuel Additive pilot plant as a pilot plant operator and Sulfonation Plant)
(Involved in pre - commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities).
Handling plant operations and process.
• Benzene evaporation and cracking, benzene recovery.
• Biphenyl and terphenyl distillation (vacuum distillation).
• HTP hydrogenation reaction and rectification process.
• Blending process.
Pree-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
Hydro/pneumatic pressure test.
• Flushing activities 1) steam blowing 2) card bord blasting 3) air blowing
• Chemical cleaning. Box up. Leak check & tightening.
• System dry out and energization with nitrogen.
• Loading packing in distillation column and scrubber.
• Nitrogen purging for removal of oxygen from the system.
• Solvent and chemical loading.
• Prepare all utility facility like instrument air and plant air, service water, cooling water
Closely coordinate with Shift In charge & DCS Operator in plant start-up, shutdown,
troubleshooting and any routine activity and emergencies.
• Maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Patrol tank farm area to inspect pumps, motors, valves, piping and tank level.
• Respond to product spill and emergency.
• I have been completed the firefighting training.
Equipment Handling: -
• Distillation columns, Degassing column, Absorption Tower, scrubber, heat exchanger,
condenser, Blower, Kiln, Rotary vacuum dryer, Screw Conveyer & Belt Conveyer, Backet
Elevator, Furnace. Centrifugal pumps, Reciprocating pumps, cand motor pump, different types of valves.
Involved in plant Pree-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Handled of plant operation like atmospheric distillation, pressure distillation, scrubbing,
Neutralization, Layer separation.
• HF recovery by atmospheric distillation. Solvent recovery by vacuum distillation.
• Handled of Fluorination, Hydrogenation, and Alkylation reaction.
• Manage of tank farm area.
• Tanker & Iso container Loading & unloading.
• IBC Unloading.
• Handling of hazardous chemicals like NaOH, HCL, Hydrogen, HFMOP, HF, Hexafluoro
acetone.

• Distillation Column, scrubber, catalyst reactor, ANFD, heat exchanger, Condenser, Candle,
