I am reporting to the Director, IT Systems & Applications. My responsibilities include the following:

• Responsible to develop IT systems, strategy and budget plan.
• RFP formulation for new solution.
• Vendor and Technology evaluation.
• Business case development for identified and planed projects for Project Tender Committee approval.
• Responsible for projects planning, execution and monitoring as per agreed deliverables.
• Contracts management with regards to Payments / SLAs / Warranties and Support for IT systems.
• Monitor vendors SLAs and KPIs.

Functional Support: ERP ORACLE EBS R12 (Financials & SCM)

Qnbn has implemented ORACLE EBS R12 Financials and SCM modules for its daily operations. I am handed over the additional responsibility related to ERP which are as follows:

o Manage and support in the daily functional issues of the Oracle ERP.
o SCM function support for all issues raised end users and by procurement department related to the ERP.
o Inventory management for coding and categories for the BOQs of the blanket framework agreement and POs.
o Perform HR related operation such as managing data of Employees, organization, departments, positions/jobs and organization/position hierarchies.

Project: Building Management System
BMS is a centralized solution for real time monitoring of Qnbn distributed locations. The solution enhances the capabilities of the NOC team for monitoring all the activities and taking actions accordingly from a centralized location. IT is responsible for ensuring all the NOC teams are properly captured and implemented in the implemented solution.

Project: Business/Operations Support Systems
Qnbn was in the process of implementing a complete new Business and Operational Support Systems stack. A requirements gathering exercise was conducted to finalize the scope for the RFP. Numerous vendors and technologies were evaluated for the implementation purposes. Several detailed sessions were conducted for finalizing the end-to-end Lead to Cash processes. Gaps were identified and the existing manual processes were redesigned.

I was reporting to the Director, Business Development - MENA. I was working on the following tasks.

• Organizing and defining roles and responsibilities of the existing PMO resources.
• Vendor and Technology selection for the projects in discussion.
• Leading the steering committee for projects.
• Conducting internal trainings of resources for familiarity with Project Management concepts.

Project: Healthcare Management System
HMS is an extensive health care solution. The solution is running on 44 locations. The project is implemented for a confidential client. I was specifically assigned the project for issues resolution and implementation of new enhancement.

I was reporting to the HOD, Technology Solution Planning & Implementation. My responsibilities include:

• Preparation & custodianship of departmental budget (Cap-Ex & Op-Ex).
• Responsible for defining, reengineering and implementation of procurement/ Sourcing processes.
• Leading RFXs processes, SLA and License agreement evaluation & negotiations in collaboration with functional teams/ BUs.
• Provide written evaluation and recommendations based on vendor proposals.
• Purchase Requisitions approvals, negotiations, seeking Group approvals and PO issuance facilitation.
• Facilitating Contract Management Process in collaboration with Business Units, Legal, taxation, Treasury and other concerned departments.
• Vendor management - managing strategic relationships with local and foreign vendors.
• Payment validation, approving late delivery penalties and dispute resolution.
• Team management, mentoring, assigning workloads and ensuring performance achievements (KPIs)
• Leading cost optimization exercise to achieve Op-EX reduction targets.
• Cost-Benefit analysis/ TCO calculation for to be acquired products & services or entire projects.
• Long term Business Plan preparation in line with company’s vision and commercial road map.

I was reporting to the Director, Enterprise System Integration. I was managing a team of 5 internal resources and 3 external teams of vendors. My responsibilities included were:

• Managing internal and external stakeholders of the project.
• Relationship building with the solution vendor(s).
• Formulating project plans. Finalizing required resourced and delivery timelines.
• Defining and finalizing scope of IT internal and external resources.
• Managing the out-sourced tasks to vendor thus ensuring timely delivery and deployment of the solution.
• Responsible for creating SOPs to ensure activities are performed within agreed KPIs.
• Closely worked with the IT budgeting & procurement team for invoice payments and related tasks.
• Preparation of reports for CIO giving visibility regarding the projects in progress.
• Managing SIT and UAT for the projects.
• Change management.

Project: SIEBEL CRM
Mobilink implemented new Siebel CRM replacing the legacy system. The new system is eTOM compliant and thus meats the industry best practices and standards. The project was worth USD 50 million. I worked on the implementation of the new CRM system integration with VAS platforms. The implementation scope also included the CRM integration with the middleware and further with the network elements.

Project: Campaign Management System
Campaign management system was an initiative of the marketing team. With the intense competition a quick and reliable solution was required to run the daily campaigns, capture the response of each campaign and analyze the offer take-ups. Multiple broadcasting channels were integrated for the solution. Further the solution was directly integrated with the CRM thus giving the customer care representative a single window for the daily operations.

I was reporting to the Senior manager, Enterprise System Integration. My responsibilities included were:

• Working as IT interface for the solution discussion meetings.
• Discuss and gather business requirements from different stakeholders.
• Producing and presenting workflows for end-user walk-throughs and sign off.
• Producing test cases for UAT and conducting UAT.

Project: Loyalty Management System
Loyalty management system was the initiative of customer care team to reward the loyal customers with bonus services. The solution was capable of gathering data from external sources, processing the data and then rewarding the customers as per predefined criteria. The solution was integrated with multiple systems for live data feeding and processing.

I was reporting to the Project Manager Offshore development team.

Project: LeasePak, A Leasing Solution
• Supporting Business Requirements activities by providing end-to-end analysis for product and initiatives with respect to workflows and user interface designs.
• Work closely with product management and business development teams for enhancing product features.
• Develop and incorporate the new requirements in the existing application.
• Executing test plans, resolving defects and reporting any issues/risks.
• Involvement in solution testing (End to End).
• Preparing the end user training manuals.

I was reporting to the Project Manager Content Management System development. I was leading the team responsible for sites implementation and CMS operations.

Project: Nestle Purina Content Management System
• Manage the process of establishing the Business Requirements for new or enhancing existing websites and proposing efficient solutions to satisfy these requirements.
• Responsible for high quality project execution.
• Build, manage, and execute sophisticated test cases and testing plans for the entire systems development lifecycle - UAT/BAT and Go-Live activities
• Developing, maintaining and reporting Project Plans and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensuring timely completion, delivery and quality of the deliverables.

I was reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Projects. I was working on the Fleet Management system implementation for the Pakistan’s largest fleet unit.

• Organize and conduct workshops with key stakeholders for determining scope to be covered by the Fleet Management application.
• Clearly, concisely, and completely document As-Is analysis via user stories/use cases, mockups, and logical data models.

I was reporting to the Business Development Manager for Pakistan region. I was leading the development team, comprising 6 resources, responsible for the implementation of the ERP modules. The modules developed and implemented were Accounts, Production Planning, Production, Inventory, Export, Human Resource and Sales.
