• Meyal Field operations including Crude Storage, Sour, Gas Purification, Sulfur Recovery, LPG Extraction, Storage & Filling facilities along with 1900 KW Power House.
• Supervising maintenance, troubleshooting & fault diagnosis of field instruments and electronic equipment, i.e. FPTR, transmitters, valves, switches, PSVs etc.
• PLC/DCS hardware diagnosis & logic modifications/updates as per production requirements.
• Supervising Joint Metering & Calibration (JMC) of metering system with SNGPL on monthly basis; including GC, floboss and FPTR.
• Conducting surveys with Process and HSE to identify the hazards and required improvement on field to avoid unwanted downtime.
• Planning of required up gradation of field instruments as well as control system to achieve improved monitoring & control, reduced down time in troubleshooting.
• Spares balance review and Inventory Control for all Instrument and Control Systems’ spares
I’ve worked independently as Automation and Control consultant for different engineering services companies in Pakistan
and USA. Work scope included PLC/HMI programming, review of drawings, load calculations, functional design and control
narrative preparation, commissioning and execution.
Following projects were executed during the duration:
Pfizer Dalian 1A Project at Custom Powder Systems Inc. for Pfizer China.
Commissioning and startup of compressor package at OGDCL Dakni field.
Commissioning of Pharmaceutical batch process plants for multiple vendors including Sterilizers and Bulk Mixers.
Conducted trainings on control systems for multiple organizations, students and individuals
• Worked as Design & Application Engineer and Projects Lead on multiple control system integration projects.
• Responsible for reviewing client’s documentation, estimate control system BoQ and develop PLC/HMI.
• Responsibilities include procurement, project timeline planning, resource utilization and client’s correspondence.
• Supervision of panel drawings preparation, panel wiring & integration and HMI/PLC software development & execution.
• Conducting in house testing of both software and hardware before testing with client to ensure quality product is delivered.
• Project Documentation including IO List, Functional Specifications, Testing Procedures, Heat/Electric Load, Operator Manuals etc.
B.Sc Electronic Engineering with Instrumentation and Industrial Electronics as Major Subjects.
