• Complete ownership of the PnL of the category including key metrics & targets such as GMV, GM and inventory provisioning across all portfolios such as OR/SOR/marketplace.
• Formulating business plan for category and prepare budget.
• Manage complete day to day operations across the category and ensure setting up of streamlined processes to maximize category potential.
• Deciding the range plan, product assortments, product mix at different price level .
• Order Placement of the product to most competitive suppliers/brands maintaining standard quality protocol.
• Developing the supply base and explore new vendors/brands on their competencies, Price and strengths.
• Appropriate orders planning to ensure product availability at stores and e-commerce platform.
• Cost negotiation with vendors/brands for better margin and coordination for timely delivery of merchandise.
• Analyzing impact of competition in terms of pricing, new products launches and promotional activities.
• Identify the new products which could give value addition to the business.
• Coordination with Outright/SOR brands to ensure right supply and replenishment as per the targets.
• Coordination with marketplace vendors to ensure correct supply, discounting, marketing investments, fulfilments as per TAT and assortment building to achieve the monthly revenue targets.
• Business development through leveraging the marketplace models to launch brands aiming for assortment solves.
• Coordination with multiple teams on financial reconciliation closures for key brands.
• Understand current trends, opportunities, assortment, competition and consumer buying behavior and use this knowledge to properly assort merchandise.
• Monitor the inventory levels on a regular basis and to take proactive action for any supplier /range / product based on stock intake and sales pattern. Simultaneously analyze stock / sales reports to understand the best/slow sellers within category.
• Ensure effective communication, collation and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders wherever required.
• Engaging the team with relevant objectives and providing continuous feedback and development opportunities.

• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain productive relationships with vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise. Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
• Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within procurement process, such as consolidating vendors, implementing vendor performance metrics, Develop and execute initiatives to achieve cost reduction targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Partners with stakeholders to create and launch tactical implementation plans. Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal client and colleagues at all levels. Serve as a member as cross-functional teams, lead meetings as appropriate and influence line function.
• Coordination with Ops teams on inward slotting, timely deliveries to ensure the monthly inward targets are met.
• Maintain trust relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealing. Understand the supplier relationship in the organization and the correct manner of addressing suppliers . Assist suppliers with day-to-day queries including samples, timely delivery of goods, stock ready dates and expected delivery dates into the business.
• Ensure products comply with Myntra regulations through a test, audit, and compliance process.
• Validating T&A and tracking WIP to ensure on-time order execution.
• Training and educating suppliers on Myntra process and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by top management.
