Operations - Pan India & Nigeria
Key Result Areas:
•Successfully handling multiple factories 4 own Mega-plants having turnover of approx. 800 Cr. And 2500 employees, by providing vision and strategy and driving manufacturing excellence tools to achieve operational objectives.
•Leading & driving operations KPI of Safety, Quality, throughput, Efficiency, Cost, Sustainability & Morale.
•Lead & drive Erection, Installation and commissioning of Africa’s largest/Mega rice processing Greenfield project within budgeted cost and timeline and successful turnaround of this Operation’s.
•Bagged Excellence in leadership award at country level.
•Management system implementation ex SAP/FSSC/14000/18000/LEAN/TPM & Six Sigma methodologies.
•Vertical ramp up of production to achieve 80% OEE and budgeted COGS.
•Trained local work-force for manufacturing excellence.
•Conceptualize long term plan for community, employee engagement.
•Provide overall leadership, direction to the plant, awareness for the need for on-going change, monitoring performance versus Plan and correction action to meet business targets and operating expenses.
•Understand and manage Global Operational Risk objectives

Key Result Areas:
•To Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and control all the functions of the manufacturing unit. To produce budgeted output within budgeted cost meeting safety and quality expectations, meeting the target of turnover and EBIT.
•To manage all the legal and statutory compliance of the factory.
•Ascertained systems, equipment is in place to provide EH & S /quality compliance with global standards
•Ensured that business meets customer requirements in terms of delivery, quality and product availability
•Formulated the annual operating plan/budget and continuously reviewed the plan compliance with respect to production, yields, and fixed costs
•Monitored the area’s capital budget and functioned with other departments for prioritizing the capital spending
•Partners with India sales/marketing leadership to meet India and growth objectives

Operations & Supply Chain (US MNC)
Key Result Areas:
•Technology Transfer from US to India and set up India Greenfield project & Operation’s, Responsible for all aspects of Discovery Sciences India Manufacturing including EH&S, production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply chain, Procurement, cost management, people management and Profit centre Head for the Manufacturing Plant. Ascertained that systems, equipment is in place to provide EH & S compliance with Indian Laws and Grace Standards.
•Responsible for managing an Operations of $60 million turnover.
•Develop and Penetrate Grace culture about Environment, Safety and EHS MS Certification by using tools such as HIRA, PHA, JSA, BST, Implementing Procedures, gap analysis, PSSR, documentation etc.
•Develop and Strengthen QMS by ISO 9001 certification, and various Grace Protocol ex. Complaint Handling, CAPA, developing SOP’s tracking and controlling COPQ.
•Reinforce Six Sigma and LEAN culture by undertaking Productivity projects. Raw material Insourcing, reducing routing cost, developing indigenous vendors.
•Develop Grace’s Image as Good Corporate Citizen in India by conducting activities as community stewardship, Safety weeks/Green weeks etc.
•Ensured that Discovery Sciences India meets customer requirements for delivery, quality and product availability
