Summary: The ERPO is an ERP system that is under development aimed to integrate and automate many of the business practices associated with the operations or production aspects of HML. Our ERP basically caters to the need for planning, manufacturing, invoicing, distribution, inventory and accounting. This software can aid in the control of many business activities like Sales, Delivery, Billing, and Inventory management, Human Resource, Material Mgmt, Raw Materials, Material Loan, Fixed Deposits and Financial Accounts etc. It’s a customized tool which can help any industry specially Cement manufacturers and has been developed according to the needs of the Company unlike other built in ERP’s which doesn’t support all the features..
Responsibilities:
o Designed and developed complex Procedures, Functions & Packages using PL/SQL.
o Used Collections like variable arrays, nested tables extensively.
o Wrote SQL*Loader script file for reading data from text file and loading into oracle table.
o Handled DBA activities like user creation, backup.
o Used Import Export tools to create dump files for exporting and importing data to the database
o Used Export/Import utility for backup purpose and transferring data from one database to another.
o Rectification of errors reported during System Test and User Acceptance Test.
o Identification and implementing business rules (constraints, triggers etc.) and views.
o Developed materialized views for reporting purpose in Sql Reports & Crystal Reports
o Tuning of SQL Statements using EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL-TRACE and TKPROF

Summary: This project is developed in Centralized Architecture with Browser based access, to the centralized Database and Oracle Application Server. Day to day financial transactions is entered in the system from multiple locations. Major transactions are CPV (Cash Payment Vouchers), CRV (Cash Receipt Vouchers), JEs (Journal Entries), Revenue Budget transactions etc. Major modules are Transaction Entries, Daily Cashbook Generation, Financial Ledger & trial balance, Party Ledger & Trial Balance, Revenue Budget Details, Cheque Printing, Pay-in-Slip, and Bank Reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
o Application development using Forms 6i.
o Build ad-hoc reports.
o Created Stored Procedures, Functions to call various oracle developer modules.
o Sub-queries and joins were extensively used in stored procedures.
o Created database triggers to automate the transactions that take place online.
o Assess and fix bugs.
o Creation of users, roles and procedures for data clean up to protect the database security.
o Used SQL Loader to automate the load of data from Text files to Oracle Tables.
o Created UNIX Shell script for sending email to alert users for erroneous records.
