- Monitor the overall execution of Static Equipment Group work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards.
- Review Client Standards and Practices, ITB documents at the beginning of the Project
- Perform activities such as - Issue of Mechanical Datasheets, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Vendor document review as per relevant Technical Practices.
- Review and approve Mechanical Datasheets & Material Requisitions prepared by the Team members.
- Monitor all Technical Queries/Technical Bid Evaluations prepared by the team members.
- Ensure Vendor Drawings and Documentation is being reviewed by all team members as per relevant Project Specifications, Codes & Technical Practices.
- Update Progress Report for the Static Equipment Group Discipline of all activities performed within the reporting timeline.
- Prepare the Static Equipment Group Discipline Design Instruction for the Project.
- Preparation of Deliverable list & manhours weightage breakup for progress measurement
- Coordination with Inter-disciplines, Client & Vendors.
- Change Management
- Attend Technical meetings, Kick-off meetings, Pre-Inspection meetings, HAZOP meetings, 3D model review meetings, Technical Audits, QMS Audits
- Mentoring of fresh engineers
- Resolve Site Technical Queries

- Design of various parts of Pressure Vessels using PVElite & CodeCalc Software.
- Approving the Design calculations & Fabrication Drawings submitted by Vendor.
- Preparing Schedules for drawings & assigning the same to draftsmen.
- Computing Material take-Off for various Equipment.
- Checking of Civil Scope Drawings.
- Project Co-ordination with Overseas Parent Company (MECS) Office.
- Checking & Review of Ducting Stress Analysis (Caesar) reports.

- Making Mechanical Design Data Sheet for Column Internals & Tower Attachments Design Sheet.
- Checking of Engineering Drawings (General Arrangement & Part Fabrication drawings).
- Preparing Schedules for drawings & Assigning the same to draftsmen
- Preparing the Bill of material & Dispatch Packing List
- As a representative from Design Dept. to attend “Across the Table” meeting with clients’ viz., PDIL, L&T, IFFCO etc. for dealing design aspects & drawing approval.
