Conducts safety orientation of contractors & visitors.
•Assists in the periodic review, evaluation & implementation of safety & health programs.
•Conducts inspections for hazard identification and monitors activities conducted with high risk equipment and/or at high risk areas.
•Monitors commissioning activities such as energization, shutting down and maintenance of equipment.
•Direct communication within CMT team and contractor commissioning team
•Conducts safety training's & drills.
•Enforces safety rules & regulations.

•Participation in RCA of SIP incident.
•Involved in controlling and investigating incident related to staff, plant and equipment and recommending corrective/preventive measure.
•Do out going correspondence and perform other duty as required from time to time.
•Support the HSE Manager and all programs that promote safety, health and care for the environment
• Identify, control and eliminate recognized hazardous acts, condition, behavior and violation.
• To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the requirements of safety management plan and arrange continuous and formal daily safely monitoring to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• To liaise with and support area Engineers/Supervisors to promote safety awareness in their area of control.
• Participates in emergency response activities and investigate all industrial accidents / incidents / near misses involving personnel, plant and equipment and may affect surrounding environment. Review progress and recommends corrective / preventive measures.
• Assist the construction site HSE leader in the application of company HSE POLICY and HSE management system for site as well as workshop activities, (Site preparation and construction) in compliance with International and Local HSE rules and regulation.
• Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to evaluate work - related hazard associated with complicated projects.
• Carry out site inspection on regular basis to ensure the proper Implementation / adherence of health, Safety and Environment standards as per company OSH and Environment - MS and HSE policy.
• Promotes proper use of PPE’s and provides basic occupational safety information on hazard recognition
Responsible for ensuring that all Authorized and Affecting Employees are trained appropriately to the hazard level to which they will exposed.
•Identify the hazards and choose the correct workers to implement the correct lockout/tag out.
•Ensuring that all Authorized and Affected Contractors are trained appropriately to the hazard level to which they will be exposed.
•Assure that the procedure clearly establishes responsibilities and accountabilities for the person who might be exposed to hazardous energy.
•Review P & ID as required and securely attaches tag to energy isolating device where the lock would normally secure so that they cannot be inadvertently or accidentally detached during use.
•Applies additional measures to assure full protection to reduce the likelihood of inadvertent energization, such as the removal of an isolating circuit element, blocking of a control switch, opening of an extra disconnecting device, or the removal of a valve handle to reduce the likelihood of inadvertent energization.
•Responsible for shutting down, isolating, blocking, and securing the equipment to control the hazardous energy.
•Responsible for the placement, removal and transfer of lock and tags.
•Responsible for assuring the equipment is in safe opening condition prior to removing lockout/tag out;
Assist in implementation of and reporting on compliance with the EHS management plan.
Advise Management on:
Preventing injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment.
Public EHS issues especially Traffic Management & construction interface with public areas.
Further improvement in existing sound working methods
Legal requirements affecting EHS.
Provision and use of protective clothing and equipment.
Potential hazards on new contracts before work starts and on the site EHS organization.
Feedback on new policy or procedures adopted.
Methods of safe working arising from new developments.
Carry out inspections, in association with the Section Manager, Engineer or Supervisor, to see that only safe methods or working is in operation; that all regulations are being observed.
Determine the root cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing reoccurrence.
Supervise the recording and analysis of information on injuries, damage and loss, assess accident trends and review overall EHS performances.
Assist with training for all levels of employees on safety.
Promote awareness of injury prevention and damage control to all levels of employees.
Keep contact with officials and professional bodies.
Keep up-to-date with recommended codes of practices and new safety literature; circulate information applicable to each level of employees.
Maintain records of certification of operatives and plant.
• Supporting, advising PMT on ESH matters associated with the implementation of ESH in the project.
• Provide ESH guidance and leadership to line supervision and foremen.
• Conduct accident/incident investigations.
• Conducts safety trainings on incident prevention and other ESH topics as necessary.
• Ensure correct implementation of statutory ESH regulations, industry ESH standards, Company and Client ESH requirements.
• Implement and assist emergency procedures and conduct drills to assess effectiveness.
• Implement safe system of works, i.e. permit-to-work procedure and other safety programs.
• Ensures company’s compliance with all environmental health and safety applicable legal and costumer requirements
• Initiates and participate in the daily toolbox meeting.
• Conduct weekly safety walkthrough by the management, committee members and client’s representative.
• Monitor safety behavior of subcontractor’s worker as part of the project safety programs.
• Responsible for the continual education of subcontractor workers pertaining to occupational health and safety aspect.
• Responsible for the implementation of health and safety rules and regulations.
• Responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly safety reports.
• Present and discuss a safety topic with employees on a weekly basis.
• Inspect fire extinguishers and other fire fighting equipment on a monthly basis.

Ensuring that employees with jobs and tasks that require personal protective gear get the equipment they need and use it properly.
•Assess all safety considerations when introducing a new process, procedure, machine or material into the workplace.
•Conduct safety inspections with supervisors on a scheduled basis.
•Enforce good housekeeping and take prompt corrective action to eliminate workplace hazards.
•Investigate or review supervisor's accident reports for all accidents resulting in employee injury and property damage.
•Review Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with supervisors and employees working near or with hazardous materials.
•Maintain the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) binder and update it whenever new chemical hazards enter the workplace.
•Take action, including disciplinary action as necessary, when employees perform unsafe acts.
•Investigate all accidents resulting in employee injury and property damage. Ensure that appropriate action is taken to prevent recurrence.
•Follow-up corrective action to eliminate or control an unsafe condition or work practice immediately
•Present and discuss a safety topic with employees on a weekly basis.
•Inspect fire extinguishers and other fire fighting equipment on a monthly basis.
•Make and install safety signage where appropriate.
•Perform first aid as needed.
•Secured and renewed specific permits for plants and other specific works such as lifting permit, hot work permit, lock out/tag out permit, confined space entry permit.
Receives instruction from Maintenance Superintendent in coordination with Shift Superintendent for PMS implementation.
•Execute PMS of engines and auxiliary as per work order request and as per procedures.
•Checks before and after any activity on a particular engine to determine the scope and quality of work.
•Recondition injection pumps and injection valves
•Ensure pumps, valves, filters and generators are in good working order.
•Removes and recondition cylinder heads.
•Dismantles, cleans and recondition Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) filters.
•Adjust and re-grease governor mechanism.
•Cleans and recondition booster module.
•Procure/withdraws necessary spare parts to be used for an assigned work.
•Fill-up PMS quality records and work order reports for submission to the Maintenance Superintendent.
•Clean lube oil centrifugal Filters.
•Perform corrective maintenance
•Detects abnormalities during conduct of any activity
•Evaluates abnormalities and immediate applies remedial actions when necessary
•Receives instruction or endorsement from Shift Superintendent and Maintenance Superintendent and executes corrective maintenance on engine or any equipment as per instruction or work order request as per procedure.
•Inform Shift Superintendent and/or Maintenance Superintendent regarding status and/or completion of corrective maintenance jobs
