• Receive, welcome and register all visitors to the School
• Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages or calls and relay to appropriate individuals.
• Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
• Assist with display in the Reception area
• Log and file accident / incident forms
• Handles the master key of the building
• Carry out any other duties that may from time-to-time be requested by the employer
Data Preparation Staff
* Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to
appropriate individuals.
* Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.
* Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to
routine letters.
* Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and
other material.
* Conduct searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.
* Order and dispense supplies.
* Prepare and mail cheques.
* Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use
computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
* Proofreads and corrects prepared materials for correct grammar, format, completeness, and
content.
* Maintains confidentiality of documents and information received.
* Performs related work as assigned.
