Back Office Jobs and Experiences:
• Analysis of the root cause of the multi high bandwidth capacity link failure such as 1GB and 10GB in the NMS in coordination with the field staff
• Analysis of the root cause of the intermittently failing of the link
• Analysis of hardware/bandwidth utilization of optical fiber network
• Regular health check activities throughout the transmission core network
• Analysis of Signal Flow Diagram of SDH and DWDM network
• Coordination with field staff and Vendor support on major planned activities

• Conduct isolation and actual troubleshooting of system faults, inter-switch and inter-carrier connections with alarms in the soonest possible time.
• Coordinate with other carriers and switch personnel on concerns such as activation of new facilities for interconnection, report and update of system status and abnormalities.
• Responsible for the updating of network spares and inventory for the documentation.
• Provide assistance on major network activity such as facilitating initial link test up to the final activation of E1's, expansion on different network interconnection, removing and adding switching facilities covered within the area of responsibility.
• Prepares technical reports on weekly and monthly basis on trouble, reliability, and in-service performance of the switching systems.
• Responsible for the system administration of the exchange which includes but not limited to regular system back-up, file management and ensuring system billing data integrity by providing back-up copies for all national and inter-carriers' call data records (CDR) for billing purposes.
• Facilitate activation, change of subscriber status and services, transfer of EN facilities and deactivation of subscriber lines at the switch (DIAX). Responsible also for maintaining and management of subscriber data and ensuring plant records in the ICMS (AS400) are updated for every Service Orders (SO) and Fault Tickets being attended.
• Operation of DIGITEL Transmissions Network Backbone utilizing various transmission facilities such as HUAWEI OSN (STM Level) with redundant/protection route via NEC SDH radio and multiplexer and BOSCH SDH radio.
• Operation of spur link, ring network, add/drop mode network and terminal mode network to provide transmission facilities (E1 and STM level) to DATACOM, DMPI (Sun Cellular GSM), voice lines, Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), New Generation Network (NGN), and CDMA. To other carriers for network interconnection local and international.
• Taught electronics and mathematics subjects such as Electricity and Magnetism, Basic Electronics, Circuits I (Ohm's Law, Series-Parallel Circuits, Kirchhoff's circuit laws, Node Voltage Analysis, Mesh Current Analysis), Differential Calculus and Engineering Economy.
