May prepare plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates in
such specialties as plumbing; heating; ventilating; air conditioning;
and general piping systems for noncomplex projects or those of
limited scope.
Investigates new MEP design concepts and technical developments of
systems for applicability to engineering problems.
May interview manufacturers’ representatives regarding mechanical
equipment, and makes field inspections and inspections at
manufacturing plants prior to acceptance of specially fabricated
equipment.
Provides technical advice to staff designers, craft supervisors,
inspectors, and contracting service providers, regarding
installation and maintenance of MEP systems.
Reviews completed projects, designs or studies for policy and
budgetary compliance; may perform technical review of designs.
Generates and compiles statistical information necessary for
budgeting of facilities, equipment and manpower.
Reviews plans and specifications for constructibility and program
adherence.
Conducts engineering and feasibility and economic studies and
prepares reports on findings
Identify problems in designs prepared by others.
Evaluated the schematic drawings and ensured their compliance
with the HVAC work and studied the dimensions drafted carefully
Monitored the construction progress and ensured that the work done
was in accordance to the quality standards of the company.
Involved in Designing activities, Drawing preparation, Planning, Co-
ordination with other services also in supervision of site activities
such as CHW pipe, duct work and other
Responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive works within area

Keeping detailed site records for changes and progress to the works
Supervision of mechanical installation
Ensure staffs are trained to carry out works safely, efficiently and to current
standards.
Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
Monitor performance and report accordingly.
o Also Coordinated with the AC and Ducting Supervisor and resolved all
technical problems in the facility.
Also worked in the MEP department for the electrical and plumping
sections on evaluating the schematic drawings on project.
Support to incidental works and other new works projects
Duct System design, supervision of duct fabrication and installation,
Manpower handling and allocation of work as per requirement.
