As a Senior Accountant, I manage the company's financial reporting and play a pivotal role in financial management and process optimization. My key responsibilities include:
• Prepare and monitor month end/year end accounting closing timeline by interacting with the management other departments, external/internal auditors and other key stakeholders.
• Monthly review of balance sheet and summarize the review points for management with action plan to resolve.
• Supervised accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitored budgeting and forecasting activities, providing actionable insights to management.
• Conducted variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Guides other accounting staffs by answering questions for proper accounting of transactions.
• Preparing the necessary schedule and tracker for assets, liabilities, and equity.
• Perform fixed assets related task as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Daily Reconciliation and verification of Invoices, Wastage stock, Truck stock and cash
- Reporting for Regional office on Daily, Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Maintaining internal control policies and audits for smooth depot operation.
- Updating sales promotion in system as per instruction from Regional Office.
- Managing petty cash system fully, daily verification of petty cash and preparation of Monthly JV
- Preparation of Journals - Debtor, Bank Rec, Generals Journals, and depreciation Journals.
- Disposal of Assets verifying Physically, selling of assets, Initiating, and disposing in SAP (Qatar)
- Managed Qatar closure alone. Including disposing of assets and final payment issuing.

KTI is Sri Lanka’s largest infant and Kids product dealer having, six showrooms, Importing and distribution of
branded toys like LEGO, DISNEY, MATTEL and FALIN.KTI operates with the ERP software BILEETA.
Lead the Finance and Sales department software transition for the new ERP software BILEETA from local ERP
Accsoft. Also, I had to do management reporting and analysis for Daily and monthly sales.

In CMA CGM I have been Managing Accounts Payables and a lead trainer for AP and Oracle AP module.
