§ Appointed lead organisational growth through business transformation strategy and define vision on a

financed projects CAPEX.
§ Led diversification which involved opening 3 testing laboratories, 8 new service lines including ISO
certification and training, food testing, and environment impact assessments.
§ Led group positioning change strategy from subcontractor to the leader in Advanced NDT, Destructive
Testing, Rope access NDT, Water & Air testing and Prover calibration markets.
§ Initiated an Angolan owned subsidiary dedicated to Oil & Gas as part of local content plan.
§ Ceased unprofitable activities without having any negative impact on global EBIT, ensuring low termination
costs and preventing negative social impact resulting from redundancies.
§ Increased the local content plan with internal training schemes; replaced 3 expat management positions
with local staff (HR, HSE and Operations) and training protocols with Ministry of Industry & Sonangol.
§ Moved to Ivory Coast as Regional Trade Manager with a purpose to strengthen weak continental
distribution network, sell multi-‐million old stock and improve the marketing strategy and Points of Sales.
§ This was a corporate function under the brand CEO, with Wholesales Manager RCI and a Wholesales
Manager Nigeria as direct reports.
§ Devised and led implementation of distribution strategy to strengthen partnerships with key distributors
and unions in Nigeria and replace a multitude of opportunistic distributors.
§ Defined the rules and conditions, negotiated with the unions and partners, developed - with Marketing -
the correct POS and trained the distributors on sales pitch. Followed and managed the developments and
sales of the chosen network for the implementation until the local managers could take over.
Achievements
§ Increased sales by 10%, cleared 70% of old stock and increased prices by 5%.
§ Improved results in the Nigerian market by 15% through distribution network and Joint Venture with a
retail centre in Calabar.

• Appointed as Change & Strategy Execution Manager to eliminate cannibalisation between internal brands, define new effective strategies for branding, design & quality management and distribution as well as overcome strong internal resistance to change.
• Selected to translate all changes in one achievable concept and design its implementation.

§ The purpose of this central position was to accelerate the diversification process and represent the market
knowledge within the R&D and creative departments, as well as implement a new level of supply chain.
