As Regional HR Specialist and business partner, my role is to lead & develop the HR function across the Region (5 countries), by leading the HR Strategies that support the company’s business strategy effectively on the full spectrum of human resources function including talent & leadership, attracting & retaining the best talents, People career development, Talent Pool Management & succession planning, Industrial relations, Change management, business process re-engineering, compensation and benefits, HR administration & Global Mobility, Immigration, performance management systems, statutory compliance including dealing with external HR related bodies and public Administrations.

My mission in support to the Regional Head of HR is to provide leadership, coordination of the HR systems and management of all HR related processes, policies and procedures to enable the achievement of the company's objectives through the recruitment and management of high performing employees assigned to businesses.

Role and Accountabilities:

• Participate in the development and implementation of the HR strategies, policies and programmes whilst being accountable of the execution of defined HR standards and good practices;
• Develop HR strategy for the whole group, encompassing reward, resourcing, employee relations/engagement and learning & development;
• Review human resource and administrative procedures;
• Provide overall leadership to and coordinate HR support staff activities to ensure consistency in recruitment, orientation and onboarding of new staff through to the end of collaboration;
• Advise and support managers on organizational policies and recommend needed changes, helping resolve work-related issues to foster positive environment;
• Update job descriptions to reflect changing roles;
• Monitor and advise on disciplinary matters in accordance with established policies and procedures; mediate conflict, grievances and workplace harassment cases;
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies as well as applicable laws & regulations;
• Identify and cartography and manage HR-related operational risks while putting in place systems to limit their re-occurrence;
• Advise and coach HR Officers on issues related to legal compliance, disciplinary action, grievance and conflict resolution procedures;
• Coordinate exit interviews and termination of staff in compliance with laws and regulations in force;
• Lead HR Officers performance assessment and identify development opportunities;
• Design and implement effective HR database and reporting system;
• Negotiate and manage illness insurance policies and social security for workforce (budget USD 300, 000);
