Handling of the IP management system (IPMS - WORLDSUITE) as well as accompanying applications, all
for the fast and easy processing of trademarks, patents, and designs applications and solving the
difficulties faced by the team with respect to the systems.
• Be responsible for managing the IT systems to meet strategic goals and work with the team to automatemanagement tasks and streamline processes.
• Responsible for the setup of SQL server, database migration, configuration of SQL Server and management of the database performance, replication and security in Bahrain and all other regional branches.
• Understand operation requirements and convert it into quality code for Database specific project.
• Responsible for developing advance SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, cursor and script and fine tuning of poor performing SQL Scripts.
• Schedule the system and user database backups and restore them whenever necessary.
• Create processes/reports for the operation analysts and end-users.
• Use DTS (Data Transformation Tools) to graphically build DTS packages in order to extract, transform, and consolidate data from disparate sources into single or multiple destinations supported by DTS connectivity, there by centralizing data and improving corporate decision-making.
• Desktop Application programming using Visual Basic 6, MSSQL, MS Access.
• Design and develop Word Templates/ Macros in VB 6 as per the user/operational requirements.
• Designed and set up an E-mail workflow system using Microsoft Outlook 2003/2010 Macro Programming and SQL server at the back end, in Bahrain and other office branches.
• Manage LAN network on a Windows platform, from software and hardware applications to equipment layout and technical support. In-depth knowledge of LAN maintenance and troubleshooting, including desktop support and configuration. Responsible for maintaining the domain, 2003 server and also did the assignment of converting our network from workgroup to domain.
