Maintaining an overview of the entire project progress, quality control and safety review on general construction practices accepted by standard code of practices, while continuing to attend to all technicalities review related to the projects.
Responsible for working with internal departments and external parties on building and design projects, ensuring the structural, architectural and functional integrity of building structures and systems.
Acting as the main technical adviser on the site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications and liaising with external consultants, subcontractors, planners, surveyors, client/tenant representative and the general workforce involved in the project.
Communicates the client’s goals and interest to the team in an effective and accurate approach, ensuring that the client inquiries are dealt with efficient manner. Lead the design of all drawings for construction projects and review final specifications, approved ordered materials and provide overall guidance on project objectives and concepts.
Work as part of the site management liaising with and working alongside architect, supervisors and other subcontractors. Share responsibility for site security, health and safety and the organization and supervision of material and human resource. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other concerns that may arise on-site.
Spearhead preparation of space planning, technical specifications, furniture details and shop drawings of projects for its transmittal to support service division team. Perform/concepts design, space planning and project management of projects, which incorporate custom-made furniture, fit-out, and other division trades of the company.
Successfully handles a group of 5 designers, responsible for the production of space plans, interior/furniture concept designs, shop drawings and 3D visuals for the presentation. Initiates and recommend solutions to any non-conformance encountered in the technical division pertaining to job-related issues.
Analyze site conditions and building space requirements to create a proper design that is incorporated in the given approved design concept by the client. Work alongside the Architect in-charge to ensure that construction projects are in accordance with the design specification.
