Managing the entire ordering process of security
and RFID/Barcode hardware including
communication with suppliers, preparation of
purchase orders, coordination of legal documents,
inspection, shipping and storage. Prepare yearly
budgetary requirements for purchase and monthly
reports to the GM. Forecasting the required
quantities and reordering at the right interval.
Overseeing the monthly inventory audit and
coordinating with finance department for the
timely release of payments to the suppliers.
Monitoring stock levels of electro-mechanical
consumables and ensuring timely refill of stock.
Arrange quotations for electro-mechanical
consumables on a yearly basis. Negotiate with
vendors for price and warranty terms and ensure
timely delivery of materials. Coordinating with
finance department for release of payments to the
vendors. Coordinating the quality inspection of
materials delivered with the technical team.
Dissertation focused on effects of globalization on the manufacturing industry and the trade offs involved in moving manufacturing facilities offshore.
