Performed multiple roles for local and international stakeholders as project manager, supervision consultants, and engineer representing the main client from start to finish. The project involves the construction of a dome-shaped steel structure building with four levels inclusive of the exhibition, office spaces, restaurant, kitchen, hardscape, water feature, and unique tube façade.
Collaborate with EXPO Organizer’s Delivery team, architects, engineers, designers, contractors, suppliers, vendors and key team members of the project for design submissions, execution, monitor, control and closing.
• Lead internal project management team and ensure appropriate permits and licenses from EXPO 2020 organizer and authorities for all stages of works to meet the project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor, follow up, Review and submission of monthly work progress reports including HSE, sustainability and worker welfare reports.
• Represent as client’s engineer by Performing Author and technical supervisor duties including reporting of deviation from design by carrying out regular site visits.
• Review and validate as built, final inspections and test reports
• Coordinate, follow up, conduct meeting with design and supervision engineers’ team for project documents review and approvals.
• Prepare and assist project director in preparing scope management, agreements and contracts.
• Integrate, coordinate and communicate between main contractor, interior fit out contractor and exhibition contractors.
Performed role of construction manager completely responsible for one residential tower out of four from start to finish. Project involves construction of two hotels and two residential buildings comprising ground, podium parking and 14 floors including swimming pools.
•Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing Health and safety and quality control.
•Ensure all works on site are adequately and safely planned, performed, directed and supervised by the Team and subcontractors. Make sure that work is executed as per Drawings, specifications, plans to achieve the Project KPI’s.
•Liaise with the designers, consultants during the progress of Project for coordination of work for different services and sorting out the Problems that arise at site during the execution of the work.
•Execute, Monitor and follow up construction activities as per approved method of statements, Project Schedule, Cost and other KPI’s.
•Lead Team of Site Engineers, Supervisors and supporting services as defined in the Project Org. Chart.
•Supporting QS/planner in monthly billing and ensure work performed is duly approved by the identified stakeholders.
•organize various statutory inspections
Performed role of senior project engineer, by executing and managing the villa construction including swimming pools on a day-to-day basis by supervising, monitoring subcontractors, following up materials, and equipment, inspecting work and overseeing Health and safety and quality control. The project involves the construction of Villas including swimming pools (Contemporary, Mediterranean, and modern Arabic types) in phases 1and 2.
Performed role of senior engineer with khansaheb construction team for many prestigious projects and clients in UAE from the year 2007 till 2014.

Responsibilities performed as project and site engineer
•Review of drawings at an early stage and prepare RFI's to ensure technical queries are sorted.
•Liaison with the designers, consultants and client during the progress of Project for coordination of work for different services and sorting out the Problems that arise at site during the execution of the work.
•Follow-up & review shop drawing and materials submittals against approved construction drawings and specification before submitting to consultant.
•Preparations of short term look ahead programs, monitor and record the progress against main contract programs.
•Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors to discuss about progress, delays and quality of work.
•Coordinate with safety officer and communicate to site foreman on all related matters for the maintenance of safe working environment.
•Complete coordination and dealing with the specialized subcontractors works such as Aluminum and glazed curtain walls, elevators, formwork, piling and shoring works, window cleaning equipment, waterproofing etc.
•Rebar call off and follow up delivery to site.
