• Nursery: Responsible for bathing the baby, ensuring proper cooling or warming, wrapping the baby, changing
diapers, providing umbilical cord care, bottle feeding, and facilitating rooming-in and rooming-out by
transferring the baby between the nursery and the mothers room. Duties also include assisting with
breastfeeding, educating mothers on breast hygiene, introducing semi-solid feeding, sterilizing bottles, cuddling,
and swaddling the baby. Additionally, responsibilities involve monitoring vital signs, maintaining accurate
records, and promptly reporting any changes.
• Ward: Responsible for providing patient care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing,
and mobility support. Duties also include monitoring health, observing vital signs, reporting changes,
maintaining patient records, ensuring patient safety, offering emotional support, and coordinating care as
needed.
• Homecare: Responsible for assisting with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, bathing, eating, ambulation,
transfers, positioning, and exercise or range of motion activities. Additional duties include providing body care,
facilitating travel for out-of-home services and functions, meal preparation, household assistance, newborn
infant and pediatric care, as well as medication management.

 Provides patient care in Nursery, Ward, and Homecare settings.
