• Verification and stamping of drawings and calculation notes for Qatar Rail Project
• Verification and stamping of drawings and calculation notes submitted by sub-consultants
• Prepare Design Drawings and structural analysis and design calculations based on the latest ACI Code, AISC Code, ASCE, BS, Eurocode, etc.
• Review drawings and calculations submitted by the vendor and sub-consultants to ensure that these documents meet the industry and client standards
• Provide technical support to the on-going projects of GEIC

• Prepare Design Drawings and structural analysis and design calculations based on the latest ACI Code, AISC Code, ASCE, BS, etc. on in-house projects of Internal Security Force (ISF)
• Review drawings/documents submitted by the vendor and ensure that these submittals meet the industry and client standards
• Prepare calculations and generate structural model using STAAD.Pro in ISF in-house projects
• Attend coordination meeting with Consultants (Design, Project Management, and Supervision consultants)
• Check structural analysis and design calculations prepared by Sub-contractor and ensure that these calculations conform with the latest international and industry codes such as PTS, CSP, PSP, FSP, ACI Code, AISC Code, AISC-ASD 9th Edition Manual of Steel Construction, ASCE 7 - 05, American Welding Society, API, European Standards, British Standards, etc.
• Review drawings/documents submitted by the vendor and ensure that these meet the industry and client standards
• Coordinate with other discipline in work interfaces
• Attend coordination meeting with the representatives of the client and of sub-contractor
• Provide technical support during construction of the project
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO)
• Prepare structural analysis and design calculations prepared by Civil/Structural Engineer and ensure that these calculations conform with the latest international and industry codes such as ACI Code, AISC Code, AISC-ASD 9th Edition Manual of Steel Construction, ASCE 7 - 05, American Welding Society, API, CMAA, European Standards, British Standards, etc.
• Coordinate with other discipline in the preparation of detailed design
• Prepare calculations and generate structural model using STAAD.Pro.
• Supervise submittal of deliverables and ensure that drawings and calculations are correct and submitted on time
• Arrange meeting with my subordinates on the task they will perform, i.e., Civil/Structural Engineer will do the calculations and preliminary member sizing, Civil/Structural Designer to do the sketches and develop drawings, and the CAD operators to do the drafting works
• Review comments from clients and ensure that these comments are given corrective measures before submittal of drawings and documents
• Prepare structural analysis and design calculations based on the latest ACI Code, AISC Code, AISC-ASD 9th Edition Manual of Steel Construction, ASCE 7 - 02, American Welding Society, API, CMAA, Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), and other Saudi Arabian Standards like SABIC Engineering Standards, SCECO Engineering Standards, Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedure (SAEP), etc.
• Prepare calculations and generate structural model using STAADPro.
• Coordinate with other discipline in the preparation of project proposal
• Supply CAD operators the needed information for the proper production of detailed design
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) according to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Saudi Aramco Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), International Industry Codes and Specifications
• Conduct site survey and data gathering to clarify and eliminate ambiguities in work scope and to get more information and work element to ensure quality of detailed design
• Ensure that the structural design calculations conform to the latest industry standards and client’s standards.
• Attend kick-off meeting with the Project Proponents to clarify project scope of work
