-To supervised the entire sales operation; -Promote good marketing strategy and exceptional sales techniques; -Train employees in line with the company standards; -Handle client's inquiries and complaints providing them with answer and solutions; -Preparation of different kinds of reports namely, sales report, inventory management, staff evaluation reports, quotations; -Maintaining good public relations ensuring to provide them excellent customer service; -Follow up orders from the shop to the factory; -Tracking of sales from daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales;
* Handling all kind of reservations in line of the restaurant standard.
* Accepting and answering calls regarding reservations and inquiry.
* Arranging the reservation list and allocations of guests' tables.
* Welcoming and leading the customers to their tables and make sure they receive the proper services.
* Arranging the tips for all the staff.
* Helping the waiters/waitresses.
* Following up with the chef's regarding to a special request.
Designated at the Regency Gourmet Shop at the Al Liwan-Lobby Lounge, my responsibilities are as follows:
Over all in charge in managing the gourmet shop. Responsible for the opening and closing the shop. Ensuring that the shop is always neat, organize and pleasant for the guest.
Managing checks and cashiering.
Explain all the product details to the guests and answers all their inquiries with the menu to help them with their orders.
To assist and communicate with the guests regarding their cake orders and rely it to the Pastry Chefs.
To greet and service all guest in a friendly manner, in line with the hotel standards to ensure the highest quality of service, customer care at all times.
Checking the quality of the cakes, chocolates and sweets before I pick up it from the pastry kitchen then arrange it one by one for display. I also pack chocolates and cakes then label them as needed.
Set up the tables, take their orders, punch the order and present them with the receipt.
Clean off all plate and glassware from tables that have left.
Organize sales staff schedule.
Assist sales staff in achieving sales target.
Manage retail staff including cashiers and people working on the floor.
Ensuring merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
Ensure pricing is correct.
Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
Handle customer questions, complains and issues.
Maintain store cleanliness.
Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandise to the company standards.
Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
Evaluate on the job performance.
To greet, seat and service all guests in a friendly manner, in line with Hotel Standards to ensure the highest level of customer care and hospitality at all times.
Making sure the beverage station was full (coffee, tea etc.)
Folding napkin, bringing the lines, re-stocking service stands.
Clean off all plate and glassware from tables that have left.
Make sure the table is set properly and clean, re-set the table in style.
Make sure the chairs and floor area around the table is clean.
Bring all dishware to the dish area for cleaning.
