▪ Reviewing the bid documents and make recommendations to the sales and marketing team to pursue based on our relative competitiveness, capabilities and workload.
▪ Formulating competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account best available product mix
and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation. Ensures that tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full
and accurate costs.
▪ Managing the preparation of all technical (defining the most suitable technology / product),
financial (total price sheet, cash flow analysis), project management (quantifies hours of engineering and production) and commercial aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices
and trading conditions.
▪ Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal,
including both technical and cost elements by coordinating with project managers, business
development professionals and internal team members from Sales, Procurement, Engineering,
Production and Quality Control.
▪ Collects and archives documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and
decisions taken during the development process. Regularly update the status of the bids/estimates/quotations using salesforce tool. Collects and analyses the reasons for tenders
being lost and won.
▪ Identifies potential risks in the bids/quotations/estimates and in contract agreements across customers / channels. Provides information to risk managers, participates in the risk review process and prepare ways to mitigate them adhering to company guidelines and policy.
▪ Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships throughout the sales process. Ensures
a positive customer experience by providing all necessary support during technical and commercial
meetings.
▪ Collaborates with supply chain team to identify potential vendors for materials required in the
project and technically evaluates supplier offers to match specifications. Negotiate to offer
better discounts.
▪ Support the HSE culture and comply with internal HSE policies, process, procedures and standards.
Noted Accomplishments
▪ Successfully carried out the complete process for complex Project RLPEP worth 13 million USD.
▪ Tactically calculated change requests for A’Seeb waste water project and improved the gross
margin by 3%
▪ Reviewed all tendering documents from customers and ensured that relevant documents are
available.
▪ Prepared the complete technical and commercial aspects of the bid and assured that all services
are included in the final price to the customer. Delivered proposals in a timely manner and
captured customer trust.
▪ Liaise with relevant discipline engineers to prepare cost effective estimates. Periodically updated
the costing tool as per the revised prices. Arranged techno-commercial reviews with customers post award of the contract. Ensured effective competitive price for projects aimed at securing a strong profit
margin.

▪ Developed electronic filing system for completed proposals which resulted in fast and easy access
to data.
▪ Modified the costing sheet entirely as user friendly. Updated the costs and added new alternative
products
• Regularly followed up with site engineers of main and sub contractor to ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications & meeting planned dates in schedule.
• Reported the daily progress, non compliance and delay in work to the project manager.
• Conducted regular job site inspections and actively monitored the work environment for hazards.
• Provided assistance in the quality and safety audit. Identified and highlighted possible risk on project.
• Established accurate inventorying the job-site and ensured that the supplies are properly maintained.
• Coordinated with the project manager in verifying extra claims raised by the contractor.
