- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures and practice
- Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
- Inspecting physical condition of warehouse and equipment and prepared work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results.
- Ensured the accuracy of all shipping documents & Verified required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers.
- Gathered and maintained all data records relative to shipping activities.
- Ensured that all products were properly counted & directed the salvage of damaged or used material.
- Establishing work schedules, and ensured that the schedules were correctly implemented and jobs were assigned effectively and completed properly.
- Moved products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stacked and stored the merchandise in the appropriate area.
- Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee inductions and tool box talks
- Controlling all the storage activities with an accurate monitoring (material in/out)
- Monitoring the quantities available on stock with a clear picture of the material delivered.
- Report on daily basis on the exact quantities available in the stock.
- Coordinate with production department with material request list to be used in production and inform in an immediate basis the Purchased Department when material requested is no more available.
- Coordinate with purchased department in order to deliver the material approved in each Request for Material with the approval of PM.
- Check all incoming materials in coordination with the QA/QC section and immediately implement these new items in the Stock list
- Protect all delivered goods to avoid any damage in charge of loading/ unloading of all materials up until their final location
- Timely and accurate loading and unloading of designated trailers and/or route trucks
- Maintain the integrity of the warehouse through proper handling and storage
- Sustain accurate weekly inventories, receiving and releasing of the materials/cargo and on time delivery.
- Assembles cargo items according to the receive voucher and/or so subgroup base on class item, condition, type transaction as deemed necessary.
- Receives cargo items by checking the shipment, purchase request and packing list. Any discrepancies or damage found is annotated in the document and directly reported to the warehouse supervisor.
- Visually check the contents of the cargo shipment against appropriate documents form verification of the description, sizes, case pack and quantity
- Received inbound/outbound cargo (container), scanning them for proper recording/documentation and labeled them, and placing them to its allocated racks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures (i.e. EHS)
- Practice health, safety and environmental awareness to keep the facility well maintained through housekeeping and security of the material/products as well as the asset.
