* Manage & supervise the operations and direct the service of Vehicle & Cargo Inspection Systems (VACIS) installed in all the three terminals of Jabel Ali port, Dubai.
* Direct maintenance calls & provide breakdown service for Sorter RS security body scanners installed in different airports and coastal berths of UAE.
* Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
* Analyse operational data and maintenance schedules to determine the equipment's efficiencies.
* Establishing standards and polices for installation, modification, and inspection according to engineering principles & safety regulations.
* Inspecting site to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
* Plans and co-ordinates the modification, continued performance and maintenance of the equipment's in site.
* Providing X-ray tube commissioning and system alignment for enhancing the image quality.
* Inspect equipment condition periodically utilizing established preventive maintenance procedures.
* Organise and manage the delivery of materials, site and equipment.
*Maintaining service log.
* Handling activities in shifts in X-Ray Cargo Inspection plant, Baggage Scanner Systems and Smiths Heimann Cargo Vision Mobile unit (HCV M).
* Fault analysis, fault finding and trouble shooting of electrical control systems, security and inspection products with limited technical or direct supervision.
* Troubleshooting & modifying programs of Siemens PLC, drives of Siemens & Emerson.
* Maintain a clean, professional and safe working environment by inspecting & scheduling maintenance, and ensuring that all site equipment’s are properly accounted for and in safe working condition.
* Supervise the installation, testing & operation of the inspection equipment’s.
* Manage and direct installation, modification, post break down service for X-ray baggage Scanners.
* Provide technical assistance viz. product and process related to facilitate achievement of successful scanning.
* Making necessary documentation including machine histories, preventive & corrective maintenance check sheets and logbooks.
*Providing 24 X 7 technical Support for the automated X-ray baggage scanners installed at King Fahad Causeway customs border gate terminals 1 & 2.
* Inventory management of spare parts.
