• Developing, implementing and continuously improve health, safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures tailored to the construction project.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses to proactively identify potential safety and environmental risks
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards in Dubai and the UAE.
• Providing safety training and orientation to project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors, to promote a safety-conscious work culture.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental concerns, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures.
• Developing and maintain emergency response plans, conducting drills, and ensuring the availability of necessary safety equipment.
• Conducting regular site safety audits and inspections, identifying areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitoring environmental aspects of the project, including waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental impact assessments.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of safety and environmental documentation, including incident reports, safety meeting minutes, and safety data sheets.
• Preparing and deliver regular safety and environmental reports to project stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.
• Promoting a strong safety culture by engaging with project teams, conducting safety meetings, and encouraging reporting of safety concerns.
Project: ALBA POTLINE 6 Client: ALBA Accountabilities:
• Implementing & monitor Health and Safety management systems required to ensure full compliance with Bahrain health & safety regulation, Bechtel ESH requirement and ALBA ESH.
• Preparing RA for all activities according to the method statements
• Conducting site HSE Audits on daily wise and making the report for close up.
• Conducted training programs for workers
• Preparing and maintained the safety related records like accidents, incidents, meetings and all training programs.
• Compiling and maintaining HSE statistics pertaining to his area and rendering report to the HSE Engineer as per periodicity prescribed.
• Inspecting camps in the area and forwarding report to the Project Manager and HSE Engineer and also following up for corrective action if any.
• Interacting constantly with the HSE Office and staying informed of new or current development in HSE protection.
• Conducted safety promotional Program to motivate the workers towards safety
