Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Installs and services chemical monitoring systems, cooling & boiler water treatment equipment, corrosion coupons and process-related applications at customer sites;
2. Collects and analyze water & process samples, relates the result from control parameters to evaluate system condition and performance;
3. Monitors chemical stock and maintains satisfactory performance of dosing and feeding equipment relative to the treatment program;
4. Prepares and submit a detailed report, discusses the findings and status of the treatment program with site management. Summarizes the course of action and recommendations to be taken through official written forms;
5. Assists in product and equipment delivery outside the normal scope as needed;
6. Conducts field trials, testing, product selection and recommendations;
7. Integrate client management concerns into GE services leading to Value-Generating Projects;
8. Data management, program reliability and treatment performance analysis using GE software tool, InSight;
9. Ensures protection of client’s engineering assets from corrosion, scaling and biological fouling;
10. Provides technical support and after-sales services to our broad customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Teaches chemistry and environmental subjects;
2. Plans out curriculum materials;
3. Enriches, updates and tries out materials;
4. Coordinates with other instructors in matters pertaining to teaching and learning process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support and serve Shell companies that are converting systems from Legacy to Global SAP;
2. Perform data analysis, mapping, cleansing, correction and documentation as required for several Engineering Master Reference Data objects for Global SAP roll-in countries;
3. Create and maintain master data and ensure the integrity of the data and its conformance with global data standards and procedures;
4. Participate in conducting online walk - through to other Shell engineering data counterparts for technology transfers;
5. Assigned as the team’s overall Quality Controller for the checking, verification and approvals of the team’s data output before data requests are being closed.
*Shell Engineering and Technical Assets handled includes USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand plant facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyze client’s project proposal and discuss with Engineering team for technical clarifications;
2. Perform Energy and Mass Balances, Piping Hydraulic Calculations and technical specifications;
3. Coordinate with Drafting Staff and assist in developing conceptual drawings both for bid stage as well as project execution stage;
4. Provide Technical Drawings and Instrumentation Specification Sheets to clients for approval.
5. Send RFQ’s to instrument suppliers;
6. Follow-up project phasing and participates in the start-up, commissioning and testing of chemical injection skids and cooling water systems;
7. Coordinate to Procurement, Finance and Production teams and to the Project Owners for project - related issues;
8. Provide weekly and monthly project updates and status to the Engineering Manager.
*Projects handled include chemical injection skids and cooling water systems for General Electric, Nalco, SABIC, Saudi Aramco and SWCC requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operation and supervision of chemical processes;
2. Control of process parameters (flow rate, temperature, pressure, levels, pH) and product’s quality specification (composition);
3. Conducts process simulation and pilot testing;
4. Assists Project Engineer in developing and executing process modifications, and supervises production personnel in production activities;
5. Optimizes product parameters and ensure that product meets QC and client standards;
6. Establishes stable plant operation as well as worker and environmental safety;
7. Gathering of process data as well as interpreting engineering data correlations.
*Processes handled include:
Trans-esterification - processing of agricultural oil and alcohol into alkyl - ester and glycerin.
Rectification - recovery of unreacted alcohol from the trans-esterification process, which is to be re-used again in the reaction.
Evaporation - concentrating a 40 - 50% glycerin into 85 - 88% glycerin concentration by passing through a triple - effect evaporator.
Distillation - from a glycerin concentration of 85 - 88%, it will further purified into technical grade concentration of 99.5% min.
Purification by Bleaching - distilled glycerin is further undergone bleaching through a fixed - bed adsorption using activated carbon as adsorbent to attain a crystal - clear appearance.
Fractionation - the alkyl - ester are broken down into smaller carbon chain groups namely, C6, C8 - C10, C12 - C14, C16 - C18 cuts, which are used for their specific purposes.
The field of chemical engineering encompasses industrial plant operations as well as design, construction and operation of the processes and equipment that will ensure efficient transformation of raw materials into finished products. With the vast sphere of activity for chemical engineers, the BSChE program is designed to prepare, develop and produce quality graduates who can be competitive locally and globally, and be able to meet the challenges of the changing times. A student pursuing the BSChE program has to finish 178 units of technical courses and 53 units of non-technical, or a total of 231 course units in five years. The basic engineering subjects are taken during the first two years, while the professional subjects are taken during the last three years. A chemical engineer may engage in research which leads towards the discovery of new products or processes, or the improvement of existing ones. He can be a supervisor in an industrial plant and direct assigned work to his men in carrying out various operations. He is the key man in the area of quality control where he inspects or conducts tests of the materials at crucial points in the production line to ensure a uniformly high quality of the output. Graduates of the BSChE program must pass the Chemical Engineer’s Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to qualify them to practice their profession. Chemical Engineering curriculum aims to develop basic knowledge and skills that will prepare students for leadership in the practice of the chemical engineering profession and to be globally competitive in this field
