Worked for various small and large transport companies, and National Foods Logistics as a consultant in transport and physical distribution management, and transport costing.

Defined logistics strategies for the Beira Port -Mutare-Harare-Bulawayo rail route.
Managed the despatch of export cargo and co-ordinated imports receipts and customs clearing
Mobilised rolling stock and reported on cargo movement on this route.
Liaised between FFZ and National Railways Of Zimbabwe (NRZ), ZIMRA and other stakeholders to maximise on effectiveness in transportation of import and export cargo. Cargo included hunger relief consignments for the WFP bound for Harare and Bulawayo Warehouses.

➢ Successfully introduced logistics strategies that reduced rail lead times from an average of seven to one and half days.
➢ Introduced and implemented customs pre-clearing which resulted in storage costs savings for customers
➢ Managed to grow cargo volumes by 35% for the company, through improved delivery lead times and cost reduction
