requirements.
Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment such as inlet screens,
blowers, decanters, and pumps.
Gives directions to PLANT ATTENDANTS and SEWAGE-DISPOSAL WORKERS in performing routine operations and maintenance.
Reporting to Shift in Charge for any abnormalities observed in the process.
Coordinating with the maintenance team on the field for daily maintenance works and permits.
(Desalination, Water Treatment, Electro Chlorination)
• Constant communication with CCR Operator for field operations such as making manual adjustments to valves and equipment etc.
• Assists CCR/Supervisor in plant start up and shutdown activities
• Observe local instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to standard operating practice
• Collect samples of various streams and delivers them to the laboratory.
• Start and stop pumps, compressors and other equipment based on the direction of the panel operator.
• Patrol the plant and ensures that the equipment is operating normally and that no unusual conditions exist.
• Responsible for preparing equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
• Responsible for preparation such as plant isolation etc., for day-to-day maintenance work.
• Perform daily check and minor maintenance based on the check list etc.
• Take appropriate actions in accordance with Panel Operator and Lead Operator in case of emergency.
• Work directly with the foreign experts in the transfer of technical advice during the initial period of operation.
• Maintain safe and stable operation of the plant (Desalination, Water treatment and Electro Chlorination)
Coal Fired Boiler Unit Operator
•In charge of Coal fired Boiler Unit (Water tube-type boiler) during Start up & Depressurizing.
•Records Coal Actual and Initial level/Inventory.
•Monitors the availability of Chemicals used in Boiler Unit operation.
•Monitors the Availability of Process water; soft water and return condensate.
•Monitors the condition of the ff: pumps; North & South feed water pump, Chemical pump.
•Monitor the cut-in/off Pressure of Boiler unit.
•Monitors the Bi-hourly TDS & TANNIN INDEX of boiler water.
•In charge of Fast-blow down & Soot Blowing Procedure of boiler unit.
•Monitors the STEAM MAIN Pressure & Auxiliary pressure gauges.
•In charge of Running the Generator Set during Emergency to Normal Operation & vice versa.
• Operates and regenerates the following water treatment facilities:
1. Mixed- bed polisher Unit
2. Dou- bed De-ionizer Unit
3. Water Softener Units
4. Carbon Filtered Unit
5. Depth Filtered Unit
• In charge of water de-mineralized delivery which is mainly used for polymerization process.
• Monitors the process water resistivity, conductivity, pH, TDS and hardness.
• Monitors and lubricates Bottle- type cooling tower draft fans.
• Perform water treatment of the cooling tower basin and ice pool for pH, Alkalinity, hardness, TDS and fungal growth control.
• In charge of softened water delivery for boiler feed water.
• Operates and monitors package chillers (water cooled and air cooled type condensers).
• Operates and lubricates two stage air compressors used for pneumatic actuators and factory air.
• In charge of power transfer from Normal to emergency power supply and vice versa.
• Supervise the Limestone sample preparation and hand over to XRF for chemical analysis
• Testing of physical properties of raw material, raw mill, clinker and cement
• Maintaining hourly samples in the shift for daily average analysis.
• Supervise the clinker sample preparation and hand over to XRF for Chemical analysis.
• Recording the results in the register and report the same to the shift chemist.
• Performing any extra duties assigned by the Shift Chemist
