Responsible for :
* Oversees the implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan of the Quality Control
Engineer (QCE) for the Inner Doha Re-sewerage Implementation Strategy (IDRIS)
- Lateral Interceptor Sewers project around Doha.
* Manages and provides specific work assignments and schedules to the QCE Civil &
Tunnelling Inspectors (9 nos.) and Document Controllers (2 nos.) assigned in the project.
* Management of the Work Inspections & Material Inspections requests submitted by the
main contractor.
* Reviews method of statements and inspection test plans.
* Reviews material submittals and pre-qualifications of suppliers/vendors and
subcontractors.
* Reviews quality documents prior to submittal to the PMC/Engineer.
* Reviews CCTV surveys for completed tunnel lines.
* Coordination with main contractor QCE Team with regards to quality issues and site
inspections.
* Management of quality control documents, field records and as built plans.
* Liaises with the SC & PMC/Engineer with regards to quality issues in the project.
* Coordinates with the inspection of completed manholes and tunnel lines with the PMC /
Engineer for Preliminary Completion of works.
* Coordinates with the inspection of completed manholes and tunnel lines with the client
(PWA O & M) for handover prior to the maintenance period.
* Conducts joint inspection with PWA R.O. Inspector for the final inspection of the completed
reinstatement of road works in the project.
* Conducts internal quality audits with the JV Main Contractor and suppliers every three (3)
months ( ISO 9001 : 2008 ).
* Quality feedback to management and evaluation of work up to required standards.
