Key Responsibilities:
In-charge of the Compensation and Benefits department with Junior Compensation & Benefits Specialist subordinate, accountable of all departmental related responsibilities, locally supervised by HR Manager and functionally reporting to Regional C&B Manager.
Accountable of ensuring that Azadea Qatar’s compensation and benefits implementation is aligned with the company’s policies and procedures and the country’s Labor Law.
Providing monthly reports to Upper Management presenting the analysis related to employees’ salaries, company cost versus sales, revenues, loss ratio and turnover, etc.
Evaluating job positions with District Managers; develops and maintains salary structures based on seasonal forecasted sales; quarterly reviewing employees’ salaries to maintain internal equity in the company.
Closely liaising with HR Manager, District Managers and Operations Managers in applying various compensation techniques to keep the employees motivated in spite of different challenges occurring in the field, and in designing incentive schemes to maintain healthy personal and interpersonal competition.
Preparing cost simulations and salary forecasts, with close monitoring of all shops especially newly opened ones, with possible revenue fluctuations, benchmarking them internally and externally, to avoid destructive salary impact to employees and maintain internal equity.
Daily attendance monitoring, attendance validation, coordinating with Loss Prevention Team in missing attendance investigations, as well as leaves, working and commission hours’ balance (actual hours, extra hours, overtime).
Monitor discount/uniform reports, reviews all insurance billings for accuracy, company clearance and final settlements, and submit them to the Finance Department for payment, and coordinating with them during mid-year and annual audit.
Responsible of end-to-end payroll process, running and validating monthly payroll, generating the monthly salary register, obtaining approval from HR Manager, Financial Controller and Country Manager, and uploading the salaries to corporate account as per Wage Protection System.
Solely managing with high confidentiality the seasonal bonus of shop employees based on the shop and employees’ performance, and coordinating with local management on back office’s annual bonus based on the group’s achievement and employee’s performance appraisals.
Overseeing the maintenance of employees’ files on the HR system and updating them with any occurring changes: transfer and promotion, trainings and certificates, uniform and discount allowances and transactions, absences, reimbursements and claims; with proper retrieval system.
Overseeing the receiving of new joiner’s files and requirements and activation in HRMS; releasing company ID and insurance card; and bank account openings.
Delivering the employee orientation program related to employees’ compensation and benefits; such as allowances, commissions, overtime, bonuses, leave entitlements, air ticket entitlements, national holidays, etc. in line with the company policies and procedures.
Overseeing the support to employees' queries in compensation and benefits related issues and in providing the necessary support, in terms of requests for employee-related documents such as salary certificates for visa applications, bank letters for salary transfer and liability application and pay slips.
Handle submissions of all Ministry of Labor forms and reports in a timely and accurate manner in order to ensure company’s compliance with laws and procedures of Wage Protection System.
