Key Responsibilities

•General Ledger Accounting & Control
•Monthly Payment arrangement related to Accounts Payable
•Manage journal entries & prepare monthly Financial closing including Accruals, Provisions and Prepayments
•Prepare and analyses expense versus budget variances.
•Assist in preparation of annual budget & forecasts.
•Record newly acquired fixed assets, track existing fixed assets, and account for fixed assets disposition.
•Conducts Fixed Asset Audit semi-annually.
•Reviews Asset write off requests and ensures that control procedures are followed throughout and post disposal stage.
•Monitors and ensures Insurance policies are in place for Home Office and Branch offices
•Performs Branch Office Expense accounting, control & Analysis
•Computes and maintains End of Service Provision for Branch office employees
•Ensures 90% collection of Balance confirmation from customers, and reconciles discrepancy if any.
•Reviews SOX Internal Control procedures and assess for improvement for a more effective & efficient operations.
•Provide schedules during Sox & External Audits

Managed Accounting Operations, accounting close, and reconciliations.
•Prepare financial statements and produce Budget according to schedule.
•Verify, post & reconcile transactions and ensure that costs are properly allocated to the specific jobs.

•Set up & Implement Accounting System for the Landscaping Construction & Technical Contracting services

Responsible for the preparation of US GAAP based monthly Financial statement of Citibank Turkey & Israel.

Key Responsibilities
•Worked extensively in preparation & submission of Citibank Turkey’s US GAAP based financial statements on a monthly basis.
•Reviews account communication changes for US GAAP requirements & analyse impact to reporting country supported.
•Prepares variance report, review on the reasonableness of the balances & investigate any major variances.
•Prepare, review, and submit the country's Inter-company Reports on a monthly basis, and other US Head office reports.
•Performing process reviews/enhancement/streamlining and UAT system testing. Coordinate with Country Finance on the implementation of reporting changes.

Major Projects/Achievements:

•Successfully migrated US Gaap & Regulatory reporting process of Citibank Israel to Citibank ROHQ.
•Involved in acceptance testing of a new financial system implementation that was in UAT environment for Citibank Turkey. That includes test case execution, defect and issues reporting.

Managed daily financial transactions related to accounts receivable, accounts payable
•Works on financial budgeting, capital expenditure, and cash flow analysis and prepares Budget Variances report

Petty Cash Custodian
•Process, submits and files government required reports
•Review & supervises the works of the Accounting assistants
•Establish close relationships with contractors, auditors & ensures conformity with all regulatory bodies
