Analyze and follow up the project’s budget, in order to ensure that funds are used according to funding contracts and to propose corrective action.
Provide the project team with technical support in budget preparation
Prepare monthly forecast and ensure proper cost control and allocation
Ensure that monthly accountancy closure is taking place and controlled, with due quality and on due time.
Monitor monthly expenses and make sure they are properly allocated
Support the line managers in implementing the internal control procedures and policies.
Implement circuits and workflows (management of cash, transfers, advances, purchase procedures, payment validations, etc.) in order to anticipate expenses at project level and to optimize cash needs and its security.
Ensure Operational and Financial reporting of the Project are prepared on monthly basis and submitted to HQ including dashboard, cost allocation report, and fund request report
Monitor accounts and monthly expenses of 14 entities abroad in order to develop their financial statements and business reviews
Evaluate the financial reports and determine how a company’s finances could impact business operations
Present owners with findings and recommendations for action by synthesizing financial information and trends to offer insight into better decision-making
Review and control the annual budget prepared by the finance and administrative managers based on historical data and market forecast
Identify financial status of the entities by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Prepare, analyze, and verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records, using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning
Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Examine inventory, tax returns, records cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks and interview workers to ensure compliance and accuracy
Determine tax liability, using knowledge of interest and discount rates, annuities, valuation of stocks and bonds, and amortization valuation of assets in order to evaluate taxpayer finances
Audit payroll and personnel records to determine unemployment insurance premiums, workers' compensation coverage, liabilities, and compliance
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and tailored recommendations, present them before the clients’ board of directors and discuss the action plan.
