• Conduct Audit as per the plan generated.

• Technical Expert for OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
• Conduct Internal audit for TUV SUD Middle East LLC for accreditation by DAC.
• Participate and give inputs for Management Review.
• Conduct Second party audits
• Assist in the development and execution of contract quality programmes in accordance with Contract and/or Projects Execution Plan arrangements.
• Promote the awareness of quality principles and concepts, promoting the review and challenge of working practices and methods to enhance performance.
• Assist in the maintenance, documentation and deployment of the contractor quality management system.
• Ensure compliance of the contractor management system with current and new legislation.
• Attend project kick off meetings as required to provide quality support and advice according to QA/QC deliverables.
• Review and approve product/material requisitions and validate quality control and certification requirements.
• Assign and coordinate product/material inspection activities in accordance to the specifications set out in purchase orders, datasheets, drawings and client specifications/ requirements, Inspection and Test Plans, etc.
• Coordinate third party vendor inspection visits, review and distribution of inspection reports.
• Interface with appointed independent verification authority as required.
• Participate in the recall of defective materials/product to ensure quarantine and replacement as required.
• Assist with the execution of planned project, vendor and subcontractor and internal quality audits in accordance with the audit and review programme.
• Assist in local management reviews.
• Effectively using and maintaining the company incident reporting database.
• Liaise with the company representative as appropriate.
• Audit contractor’s quality system and ensure NCR’s are closed in a timely manner.
• Document observations and recommendations to improve contractor’s quality system.
• Prepare daily/weekly and monthly quality reports.
• Developing Quality Assurance Plans
• Develop and issue Inspection and Test Plans and Wall Planners as required.
• Specify welding consumables, based on contract requirements
• Monitor welding activities
• Monitor welder qualification records (WQR's)
• Audit field operations for adherence to requirements, Participate in audit activities.
• Stage wise Inspection as per procedure
• Plant Shut Down Inspections of Stationary equipments.
• Hydro Test Inspection of Exchangers.
• Inspection of Incoming Materials and consumables.
• Inspection of Surface preparation and Coating.
• Preparation of Project Specific Procedures.
• Checking various activities related to online welding, hot tapping and line stoppling.
• Inspection of the weld fit-up and visual inspection of the weld joints
• Collect data related to welding and welders performance
• Recommending NDT and other Inspection requirements as per line specifications.
• NDT co-ordination, NDT inspection
• Customer feed back monitoring, Monitoring of calibrated instruments
• QC dossier preparation
• Monitoring Chemical cleaning works of heat exchangers
• Monitoring catalyst loading activites
• Maintain and archive all documentation related to inspection.
The project I did was the design of shell and tube heat exchanger to replace the finned shell and tube heat exchanger for Hindustan Organic Chemicals , Kochi, Kerala. It was to replace an imported heat exchanger.
