I was in charge of the technical side of the new branch in Gauteng.

All the system design and integration for projects and solutions that the company could offer.
Managing a team of 3 developers and 1 integration technician on various projects.
Technical marketing presentations.
Providing commissioning guidelines for technicians so that site would be ready for software integration.
Providing test procedures for sub-systems before integration could start.
Providing technical documentation for all solutions.
Providing test documents and procedures for integrated systems.
I was in charge of developing a security management system that could be implemented in various different ways.
We had a target market, Maximum Security Prisons, but the solution is flexible enough to do building management, production management, facility management and basically every type of security management you can think of.
After an initial 3 month training I was in charge of doing the maintenance management and stand by on a maximum security correctional center security management system.
It consisted of 1000+ controlled access doors, 300+ cameras, 25 TSX Premium PLC's.
I managed a team of two technicians, I was also the senior technician, and made sure jobs were completed and that all emergency jobs were finished every day.
I was responsible to fix problems in the system design, that was already there when we got the maintenance contract.
