Resolve technical matters related to equipment spare parts such as Evaluation of technical offers received from GPS, Investigate discrepancy of existing records against actual spares and closure of OSDR (Overage, Shortage, Damaged, and Rejected) materials.
Creation, update, extension & deletion of spares in SAP using SABIC cataloguing system -Master Data Record Manager (MDRM).
Review equipment BOM in SAP to ensure correct and reliable spares. Communicate with OEM for missing, upgraded or obsolete spares. Analyze spares criticality and interchangeability.
Proactively review MRP and implement necessary adjustments to ensure availability of critical spares, and reduce dormant and excess stock to optimize warehouse inventory.
Inspection of delivered spares to ensure conformance and meet required standards, and returned spares (excess or unused) to ensure proper preservation.
Assess and monitor proper storage and preservation of critical spares.
Assist Run and Maintain team, and other stakeholders for any material requirement.
Organize weekly Planning meeting with Operations Gatekeeper, Maintenance Supervisors and Specialist to discuss planned activities and discuss scope of work including required outside service, spare parts, materials and special tools that are required to execute the job.
Conduct daily maintenance activity meeting to discuss the status of current and next day planned activities. Updates completed tasks in the SAP system on a daily basis.
Create sub-order to central workshop planners for any services that require overhauling and fabrication activities at workshop. Coordinate with Service Department for any required services.
Plan and schedule Preventive and Corrective Maintenance orders and other executable backlog to develop weekly schedule with multi-week rolling plan (2 weeks final schedule).
Load work center activities into order and assign resource quantities as required. Update work centers in SAP as per approved Manpower.
Ensure SAP final CNF and TECO of work orders after actual completion of job. Update the order in SAP with proper user status. Ensure that work history is available within the notification (Failure codes etc.)
Monitor and develop action plan to improve Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (MKPI) as per SABIC standards.
Closely work with Operations Gatekeeper and Maintenance Supervisors during all aspects of planning phase and leading in the process of developing worklist and optimizing work scope.
Responsible for ordering all stock/non-stock items and coordinating with Purchasing Group to ensure that required materials are on site timely to support the Maintenance activities.
Review Equipment Bill of Materials (BOM) and Critical Spares together with Maintenance and Reliability Group and perform required changes in SAP database.
Oversee all PM activities ensuring timely execution of tasks and availability of all parts. Closely coordinates with the Inspection Group for routine inspection data and consequent actions.
Determine activities and needs of scheduled Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) and Shutdowns in terms of Manpower, Spare parts, Tools and Heavy Equipment requirements.
Identifying and making long-range plans and strategies that can be a reasonably anticipated.
Controlling all planning variables through effective use of resources, schedules, indicators reports, feedback mechanisms, charts, graphs, statistical reports and bulletin.
Responsible to support the successful commissioning, start-up and steady operation activities of the Naphtha Cracker plant.
Perform and participate in the maintenance activities such as Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown repairs of the Plant equipment.
Perform in various activities involved in repair, refurbishment and testing of all equipment including but not limited to Overhung, Between Bearings, and Vertically Suspended Pumps, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Positive Displacement Pumps, Fans and Blowers, Pressure Safety Valves, Exchangers, Boilers and Heaters.
Monitor and troubleshoot Plant Rotating equipment including lube oil and seal system. Experienced in refurbishment and testing of cartridge type mechanical seals (single, double and tandem).
Perform routine checks on machinery, and notifies any abnormalities, malfunctions or defects to immediate supervisor.
Ensures accurate and correct test measurements, specifically on equipment alignment involving peripheral and reverse alignment utilizing advance technology on laser alignment.
Provide quick response during unscheduled equipment breakdowns, which usually need urgent spares or organization of labor, and often require conflicting priorities to be resolved.
Attend toolbox meetings to follow the scope of work activities for safety requirement of permits, special tools and materials.
