● Implement health, safety & environment policy and performance review on the site.
● Identifying hazards on the workplace & risk assessments, record findings & review the
procedure.
● Minimize fire risks & develop fire prevention procedures.
● Investigating & reporting accidents, near miss and implementation of preventive measures.
● Conduct tool box meetings weekly, monthly safety meetings with sub-contractors and
employees.
● Inspection of MEWP’S, cranes, machines and verify the competency of operators.
● Follow-up of work permit system in the firm & program the work in a safe manner.
● Ensure that dangerous chemicals and equipment are properly stored away.
● Putting appropriate safety controls in place.
● Coordinating with the client & company management effectively.
● Implementing of safe procedures at working place.
● Checking scaffolding & PTW.
● Inspection & maintenance of fire extinguishers, breathing apparatus, fire hydrants.
● Emphasis on correct personal protective equipment usages.
● Incident/accident investigation reporting & follow up actions.
● Emergency response planning, preparation, training demonstration, and development.
● Coordinating the client/safety representatives, in establishing & maintaining compliance with
client’s safety procedure and contractor’s execution plan.
