• Giving technical maintenance support to on site activities and ensuring that the correct components and procedures are followed to ensure quality control.
• Responsible for monitoring corrective and preventive maintenance of UPS, LV Panels, Distribution Boards ELV System, Capacitor Banks, Fire Alarm System, Automatic Sliding Doors, Luminaires etc.
• Good Knowledge in RSB Regulations-Abu Dhabi and working according to the standards.
• Responsible for coordinating and planning daily maintenance and repair activities recording and maintaining engineering records
• Coordinating with concerned sub-contractors for specialized system corrective maintenance and monthly planned preventive maintenance.
• Submits daily site reports, inspection requests and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required to client
• Expert in Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system
• Accurately diagnose all malfunctioning apparatus and equipment like SCRs, Generators, Motors, Transformers, LV Switchgears, different types of sensors, Air conditioners, CCTV, etc.
• Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the Consultant requirements.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly Electrical Inspections on all area drilling rigs to standards, prepare reports with supporting pictures of discrepancies.
• Make sure that all Electrical Safety Protocols are being followed, including Lock Out Tag Out, while working on Electrical Equipment.
• Complete responsibility to decide on day to day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including Scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, Accuracy of work conducted, Supplying resources and dealing with operational issues and problems.
• Execute assigned work, and deliver documentation within the project schedule .
• Coordinate and liaise with other disciplines and departments.
• Carry out technical investigations, produce technical reports, engineering standards and procedures.
• Perform all assigned work to agreed standards for safety, health environment and demonstrate a commitment to attain ing high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance schedule.
• Cathodic Protection works f or the flow lines.
Accomplishments:
•Submits planning reports such as preparation of manpower requirements for the project, preparation of material procurement repor t in accordance with approved program.
•Small installation jobs and the supervision of external contractors involved in works.
•Perform inspections of Electrical installations and Electrical equipment for conformance with engineering documents, equipment specifications, and safety standards
Accomplishments:
•Continually observes the functioning of station equipment in substations, principally as revealed by various meters and gauges.
•Observes switchboard instruments for unusual operating conditions and performs the function necessary to restore the equipment to normal or remove it from service as required.
•Switches and maintains substation equipment for proper operation. Prepares the equipment fo r operation and starts, stops and controls the units, adjusting the load and voltage and accessory regulating equipment as required.
•Permit issuing for various works in OHL, Transformers, and Pole Erection for K.S.E.B authorities.
•Maintains daily operating log on all operations, both routine and emergency, and reports on line outages. Records hourly readings of indicating and integrating meters, and changes, marks and checks charts of recording instruments
Accomplishments:
•To receive and adhere to daily operating instructions from Work Supervisor and feedback immediately if compliance a problem for any reason.
•In the event of plant or equipment tripping, to provide/assist in immediate frontline troubleshooting and remedial action for recovery.
•Participated in the implementation of the Power Factor improvement project at KAL by installing Automati c Power Factor Correction (APFC) panel.
