Opens or closes coffee shop
•Prepares all types of house beverages from coffee, tea to hot chocolate
•Maintains time-keeping, temperature logs, inventory and cash handling duties
•Reviews store inventory
•Checks quality of coffee stocks
•Checks operating status of all equipment
•Works with Marketing and Promotions on all new item selections
•Works with Purchasing to ensure punctual delivery of stocks and supplies
•Creates and updates coffee and food preparation guidelines
•Supervises and manages coffee preparation
•Addresses all issues, concerns and complaints from customers
•Reviews and gives recommendations on improvements of coffee shop
•Ensures cleanliness of coffee shop
•Cautions guests of unsafe and hazardous activities
•Audits and inspects safety, working condition and maintenance of all equipment
•Prepares required reports and paper
•Have telephone ethics.
Greeting, welcoming and sitting the guests.
•Being in charge in absence of supervisor/manager.
•Performing essential service to the guest from arrival to departure time.
•Assisting food preparers in order completion by informing chefs of client’s preference.
•Handling two sections of a restaurant with punctual, fast and friendly manner to all guests.
•Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all team members.
•Ensure all delegated tasks are completed to performance standards.
•Assist in managing service department and cover shifts as needed.

OBJECTIVE.
To consistently provide guests the best espresso experience and efficient, friendly, high-level customer service and make the coffee house the only one to go to.
KEY RESULT AREAS
•Coffee preparation: Utilize knowledge of coffee drink combinations to prepare highly-specific coffee drinks; stock work stations; maintain sanitary and tidy work area.
•Cashiering: Enter drink orders into computerized cash register; handle cash and make change; process credit cards; open, close, and balance drawer.
•Customer service: Apply knowledge of bean varieties, roasts, and popular drinks to guide customers to selections, upselling where possible.
